Hoax.  I make a lot of worthwhile contributions.  For instance, I’ve pointed out your “I’m a physician and HCQ is an effective treatment for COVID” hoax.  Last I checked, that position is not one that is supported by the relevant scientific community.  So maybe before you accuse others of idiocy . . . I’ll leave it to you to figure that one out.

Yeah, the "relevant scientific community"...who didn't study it with zinc.  Or who claimed it was a dangerous drug.  Good one.

And don't get me started on Fauci's "masks are useless...no wait, after thinking about it for a week, they're not."

Andrew Cuomo’s secretary Melissa DeRosa agrees with journo that we shouldn’t ‘let scandals distract from [Cuomo’s] pandemic competence.’

What Nursing Home Pandemic ?

Surprised Cuomo hasn't "nasty'd" her for exposing nursing home lies.  Cuomo pulling blackface Virginia Governor defense.  That cockroach will make it through this.  Watch.

Joe Borelli: There is ‘more than enough’ votes to impeach Andrew Cuomo

NYC councilman Joe Borelli says there may be enough votes to impeach the governor in the state assembly and senate.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's administration ordered homes for people with developmental disabilities to accept coronavirus patients — and never rescinded the order.

The April 10 directive, which mirrored the Cuomo administration's controversial order to nursing homes, also told homes for people with developmental disabilities that they could not require hospitalized residents to be tested for coronavirus prior to admission or readmission.

Five hundred fifty-two residents at homes for people with developmental disabilities have died of coronavirus, the New York Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) told Fox News on Monday.

More than 6,900 people out of the more than 34,552 who live in such resident homes have been infected with the virus, according to OPWDD.

Doubling down on your hoax.  Nice.  Maybe instead of wasting your time on an Internet message you should get this zinc information to Fauci,  and maybe the MyPillow guy, ASAP.

Cuomo must be feeling pretty emboldened, all he has to do is ride the tide

of the sexual accusations and then he will pretty much have gotten away with murder.

Actual murder, not lib fantasy ones.

The only hoax was the Dems lying about how dangerous HCQ was/is just because they wanted people to die to make Trump look bad.  Nice.

That’s fake news.  The hoax was people like you and Trump and the MyPillow guy touting HCQ as an effective treatment for COVID when, in point of fact and irrespective whether it is used on conjunction with zinc, Lysol, magic, or any combination thereof, it is not.  You doubled and tripled down on a friggin stupid point that a guy who tried to lie his way out of a pandemic made.  Instead of working to, you know, actually solve the problem, we relied on junk science, lies, false hope, magic, household cleaners and such to wiggle our way out of it.  And here we are.  500,000 plus Americans dead, in significant part because we (and by we I meant Trump and his ilk, which, ironically, include “pro-lifers”) politicized a mask issue.

Now you play some nice little semantics game about the degree of danger ascribed to a drug by “Dems” who allegedly “Wanted people to die.”  That is patently absurd.  Almost as stupid as, say, relying on a malarial treatment that doesn’t move the needle on COVID to fight the pandemic.  But hey, you’re the scientist here.

U.S. attorney, FBI investigating Cuomo's handling of nursing home deaths

“As we publicly said, DOJ has been looking into this for months. We have been cooperating with them and we will continue to," a senior advisor for the governor, Rich Azzopardi, said Wednesday night.

Current and former law enforcement officials say investigators are in the very early stages of their probe and the possible investigative avenues could include false statements, any scheme to defraud the federal government of funds or any misuse of federal funds.

LOL!  Yeah that "scientist" leading us told us masks didn't work.  You want to blame the 500,000 deaths (solely, foolishly) on the politicization of masks...

And yeah, it's just semantics that the MSM was claiming HCQ was so dangerous despite being used by tens of millions of people daily, and that Trump only mentioned it because he owned stock in it...7 years earlier.  Because there were such better options available at the time...

So now you’ve retreated from the “they wanted people to die” point.  Good.  We’re getting somewhere.

And, on the Fauci’s thing, you’re misleading the reader. Fauci was skeptical of the efficacy of the masks, but only early in the pandemic and only for a brief time.  You, meanwhile, still would have us sucking down HCQ out of Pez dispensers.  You also ignore the “risk/reward” reality of HCQ use in certain classes of COVID patients.

Moreover, let’s not forget that while Fauci followed the science on the mask issue, Trump and his crew did not.  Maybe it’s because they were too busy juicing bleach.  Maybe it’s because they were too busy snorting smashed up HCQ.  Or maybe it’s because they’re simply lazy, inconsiderate, and dumb.  So that’s where we’re at.  You harp on little mistakes as a way to distract from the point that you, as a scientist, were dead wrong on this issue.

I haven't retreated at all.  It's the only conclusion that can be drawn from the way the Dems viciously went after HCQ despite a) it being safe (again, safe enough for tens of millions of people to use daily and having been used for over 60 years, meanwhile Wuhan virus was killing people); b) it having been studied as a potential treatment for coronaviridae after SARS (i.e. well before Trump even took office) and with a known mechanism of action; and most importantly c) there being NOTHING ELSE with which to treat Wuhan virus.  Then to say Trump only mentioned it because he (formerly as it turned out) owned stock in a company that made a brand name version of it?

As for masks, I'm not misleading anyone.  Fauci said what he said.  I can links to video clips if you wish.  The mixed messaging did untold damage.  He also believed China's and the WHO's lies.  If Fauci can't get it right, why did the lazy, inconsiderate and dumb left think Trump should?

And what science was Cuomo following when he put sick patient back in nursing home or not shutting down NYC and allowing it to seed the rest of the country for weeks?  What about the left completely ignoring and failing to shut down the super-spreader riots?

If you want to believe this would have all been a nothingburger under Hilly/a Dem, be my guest.  It likely would have been worse.

My understanding of HCQ with respect to SARS-Cov1 is that it was tested and found to be effective in vitro but failed in vivo.  I think the same was found for SARS-Cov2.  The tests in humans have been muddled at best.  For every test, someone from the other POV knocks it down for some flaw in the conduct of the test.  Can you point to any double blind studies with a large number of participants that proves HCQ to be effective?

None have been done.  For some reason they all omit zinc, which is the key.  And it's doubtful any will be done now that there are better options.

Sounds like the goal posts keep getting moved for this drug.  First it was that it had to be combined with azithromycin.  Then it had to be taken with zinc.  Then it had to be taken early.  It seems more like you are going to keep changing the combination of ingredients or the time until you get a positive result, which may just be because of the other drugs/minerals/vitamins than because of anything HCQ does.

Maybe people are skeptical of HCQ just because it hasn't really shown a clear benefit and not because “they wanted people to die”?

What better options are you talking about?
