Brennan Huff Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 (edited) Per Schefter. For a 2021 3rd and a conditional 2nd in 2022 https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2021/02/18/eagles-trade-carson-wentz-to-colts-for-draft-picks/amp/ Edited February 18, 2021 by Brennan Huff 1
Milanos Milano Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I think that’s a good fit. I still think he has something left in the tank, and the Colts D is good. 7
Captain Hindsight Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Pretty small return for the Eagles. A 2021 3rd a 2022 2nd that could become a first 2
Beast Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 (edited) I think this move tells me the Jets may be set with Sam Darnold because, even though I know more QB's are available, I thought Darnold had Colts written all over him. In fact, I'd rather have Darnold than Wentz. Edited February 18, 2021 by Beast 2 5 1 5 1
RiotAct Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 good trade for the Colts. They didn’t give up much. 5 3

FireChans Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Lol that’s nothing. I think Wentz could be toast, but is there a third round pick QB that has a better chance of being good? I don’t think so. 2
Milanos Milano Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Just now, RiotAct said: good trade for the Colts. They didn’t give up much. Not much of a difference between him and Rivers. Maybe even a slight upgrade for the Colts. 1 1 4 1
MrSarcasm Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Good trade for the Colts. My opinion is that Wentz is a good QB and his collapse was due to a bad online and poor play calling. The Colts are a perfect fit for him. 7
Milanos Milano Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Plus I think Frank can improve on Wentz numbers. 1 1
TonyBeets Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I know most will disagree but Colts will surprise a lot of people offensively. Reich knows what he has in Wentz, and he also knows how the get the most out of him. Scary team 2 5
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 That's a win for the Colts. Not sure about what the future brings for Wentz but worth a shot for a QB needy team. I think at first hand the Eagles asking price was ridiculous..in the end this seems about right value in my mind. 1

Early comeback player of the year candidate IMO 4 1
LEBills Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I guess Andrew Luck isn’t unretiring? Colts are gonna be a tough team this year 1
whatdrought Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 So here’s my thought: Frank Reich was there in what has been revealed to be a very dysfunctional situation. He saw how it went, and he knew who Wentz was. If he’s saying that he can recover him, I tend to believe he will. 8 8
Charles Romes Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Worth the risk to land a possible franchise QB. As we know you can swing and miss for decades. 1
bills6969 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Wow, philly must’ve not had that many offers for him.

He has the equivalent of a golfer with the yips. Maybe a change of scenery and a reunion with Reich can revive him, but honestly, I'm sceptical. Here is one of my bold predictions for next season very early.... by Thanksgiving Wentz is not the starter. 1
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 He will do great there. Just need to hand the ball off and throw some play action. 1
