Buffalo_Stampede Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I still believe it'll be higher than we think. 2 2
Steptide Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I'm not supy cap savvy, but why don't they know an exact number at this point? 2
Royale with Cheese Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 (edited) I just donated to the NFL guys. My contribution will allow the cap to rise to $215,000,000. We can afford Watt and Milano now. Edited February 18, 2021 by Royale with Cheese 8 1

Don Otreply Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 It will be 190,000,000. Minimum, it does not serve the owners/league to slow the gravy train, none of the owners are interested in a step back, jmo... 2

Call_Of_Ktulu Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Whenever the cap increases QB’s think that is their money. 2
PrimeTime101 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/contracts/ Spotrac already has us back in the green. I think they dump 2 DT to get us our one tech DT... and still leave us with another 5 mil left over just from 2 DT. There will be lots of movement this year with players in and out but the sun is already looking brighter 2

It does not server the owners to increase percentage of money going to players - like removing preseason games they will just want more. Need to burn leaches off.

Those leaches will be back as soon as revenue is back... that’s the life cycle of leaches... 😁

ghostwriter Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 NFL will have no problem rebounding.. If this is the minimum, I expect the number they settle on to be much higher than this. 1
Mango Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 The league and the owners can easily afford to at least have a flat cap for the 2021 season without taking a major/measurable loss. They are just taking money out of the players pockets and putting it in their own. Lowering the cap is not a move required to "keep the lights on". 1
