Trump knew what he was doing was illegal and conspired with others to attempt to overturn the results of the election. Take your choice. The answer is c. Trump felt that the election was sloppy at best, given the unique circumstances surrounding voting during the pandemic, and wasn’t willing to simply accept the explanation he was being given that ‘oh well, there’s nothing you can do about it’ 1

The left created this entire situation we have with how they acted for four years. Something like this was inevitable. 1 1

He saw the success of the Russia probe in sowing disinformation about an election, saw that accusations of treason and an illegitimate election were allowed to stand, and that regardless that Mueller concluded the collusion angle was non-existent, there really was no fall out for those that spread the lie. He also saw that for supporters of the Dems, it didn’t matter that it was manufactured, they voted party line regardless. Predictable, really. @aristocrat —missed your entry a couple posts up. L Ron Burgundy Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Ladies and gentlemen it's looking we've moved into the next phase. The "oh yeah he did it but he had every reason to" phase. We'll be hearing all the splendid justifications and accusations that the left did the same for the next few weeks (or decades). On another note. Can't wait to find out why all these people asked Trump for pardons! 3 1

BillsFanNC Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 The easiest way to flag a partisan lemming is when someone is unaware that "whataboutism" isn't unique to any political ideology. They all do it.

Yep, that's probably it.
Tiberius Posted June 24, 2022 Author Posted June 24, 2022 Bill Barr jumping in and getting investigations going right away was a really good move. He got ahead of the rumours and swatted them down.
LeGOATski Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 *****in' a. I'm glad I'll be able to look back on this time in history and tell my kids I did not vote for Trump. 1

Just like they were all against the Iraq War, years after they were for it 2
BillStime Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 This conspiracy to overthrow the government, led by Trump, involves every level of the Republican Party. 2

B-Man Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 J6 Committee Failed, so Here's 'Plan B' to Whip up the Base Over SCOTUS Abortion Decision Democrats haven’t gotten what they wanted with their effort to whip up Americans with the Jan. 6 hearings. So, now it looks like they’re going to Plan B — pro-abortion hearings in the wake of the SCOTUS decision in Dobbs, sending the decision on abortion back to the states. The Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) announced that he would be calling for a hearing to deal with the decision. Primetime ???

Wasn’t Jeffery Clarke’s home raised by FBI yesterday? No, they succeeded in showing Trump tried to have a coup And you don’t care. You hate the government.
