So the President of the United States somehow communicated with thousands of people on some sort of a private hotline?  Was someone selling those on Amazon? And the only place the Commission can look for these communications is in the private documents of the Executive Office?  Really?  There is no record of them on the receiving end of the communications?

Or, could it be that this is nothing more than a fishing expedition trying to dig up dirt on a political opponent?  Wait a minute....isn't that EXACTLY what Trump was accused of doing in the infamous Ukraine phone call?  Or does the impeachable offense only apply when it's a republican?

Oh sunshine - what happened at the actual Capitol with Trumps mob was just one small piece of a much larger puzzle associated with 1/6.

Put your seatbelt on and enjoy the ride.

How revealing that some posters here are continually saying that Ashli Babbitt (who was unarmed) deserved to be murdered.

and the same people say Kyle Rittenhouse did not have the right to shoot Grosskreutz when he was threatening him with a gun.

With long prison sentences being handed out to the rioters its only a matter of time before the House Committee investigating this assault on our democracy hands its evidence of the conspiracy behind the assault over to the DOJ for prosecution of the leaders

This statement is representative of the lefts mindset.  Liberals that advocate for de-fund the police, prison and sentencing reform, SWAT teams dragging their political enemies out of their homes at 3 AM with media present to record the event, and advocate for changes in the criminal justice system for rapists, murders, and other criminals while applauding the militarization of the Capitol area have no issue with long sentences and weaponizing the criminal justice system when it comes to punishing their real or perceived political enemies.  The message the left is sending is you can rape, murder, and commit other crimes against people and property and we will fight for you to get off easy but don't oppose our political program and ideology or we'll bring down the hammer on you.  Obey and comply with our agenda.

Remember this next time you hear or read about some goofball fringe nut job reciting the scripture about the unfairness of the criminal justice system.

While this is no time in our history for run on sentences, nothing feels more like integrity than a partisan political tribunal setting the table for a partisan criminal investigation.

Who incited it?  That's the question.  The protestors were protesting peacefully and patriotically for quite awhile, like Trump asked them to do, until something changed and they decided to break into the Capitol.

You're advocating for a(nother) crime against democracy.

You already got your balls slapped around for believing in RUSSIA©, THE MUSICAL sponsored by The Real D, why do you keep letting them humiliate you like this?

Riots are not democracy. You people are just the stuff criminal tyrants love. Go kiss his feat and bow down to your criminal masters.

Democracy will conquer you! You are losing

Bringing that up doesn't justify or excuse the Democrats weaponizing the mechanisms of government for political purposes.  Specifically to use it for the persecution and punishment of their political enemies with a passion for maximum sentences for mostly petty charges.  Make no mistake.  That is what's driving this 1/6 investigation.

How else would you explain a political class that has no interest in law and order, advocating instead de-funding police, zero bail arrangements, dismantling the prison system, and other anti-law enforcement initiative and ideas, having such a great obsession for law and order when it comes to this one situation?  A political event gone bad.  Are we expected to believe the members of the committee who embrace holding suspects indefinitely without bail and in confinement on misdemeanor charges would endorse and support no bail and solitary confinement for a similar situation of a suspect accused of criminal trespass at the local WalMart?

Not weaponizing, it's going after a criminal. That's what government is suppose to do. You people don't deserve to live in this great country. You people are parasites
