Expand So you've got some on the left saying it was planned in advance. Makes sense that Trump asked for national guard troops prior to 1/6 and was denied. Masterful 4D chess by Trump. Then you've got those who say he incited an impromptu insurrection on 1/6. This is where the left utilize their tactic of randomly redefining words to fit their narrative. Clearly when Trump said "march to the capitol to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard" he actually meant "go storm the capitol and stage a coup." 1
