DCOrange Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Would be awesome to see him return to San Fran, which just so happens to be the most RB friendly system in the league.
Charles Romes Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 His grand exit was making a few monster plays to jettison Lawrence out of our division. Thank you Frank! 1

Fr. Jerk Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 If Frank can still get that gwop then let it rip, ya dig?
stevestojan Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Why not? If he can be productive as a third down back, and wants to play, good for him.

Look at Singletary when Gore was his backup, and without. Moss outperformed Singletary this year so you can't say Moss was Singletary's backup. Gore made and still makes a difference.

Give Moss the same amount of games, and he would have outperformed Singletary. So if the Y/A are the same with Moss 0.1 Y/A less, if they had the same # attempts, Moss would have had fewer yards. You can *speculate* that given more playing time, Moss might have outperformed Singletary, but that's a bit different than making the flat-out statement that "Moss outperformed Singletary this year"; he didn't. Fewer Y/G, fractionally lower Y/A He did have more TDs but that has to do with how he was used 2 1
whatdrought Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 In that system he could probably get 1k yards... 1

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 SF backfield is too deep. Mostert, Wilson still there even if Coleman and McKinnon leave. Do they want Frank as an RB#3. I don't think SF would want him even at vet min.
machine gun kelly Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I doubt Lynch would sign him for more than just a one day contract for a ceremony. They already have solid young RB’s, and Gore can’t really help much at ST. A nice guy, class act his whole career, and probably a HOF in 5 years post retirement. (16,000 third overall)
Saxum Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Gore has shown he could be a good RB coach who would be work as hard as RBs.
