RyanC883 Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 2nd round tender is barley more than right of refusal. I'd do that.

Led NFL in 2020 regular season in punting yard average at 50.8. Bojo punted from the opposite side of the field only 3 times this past regular season. He punted only 49 times total. Projected tenders are based on future salary cap estimations and are subject to change when a future salary cap is made official. https://overthecap.com/franchise-transition-and-rfa-tenders/ Re-sign, but like Wallace - I would not tender - I would re-sign to a multi-year deal - trying 4 years 10-12 million give him a nice signing bonus and low year 1 contract to spread the cost over time, but give him money sooner. 1

Does anyone know this for sure? I don't know this for sure, but I believe this to be the case, too. Although in the example you provided, I would assume Bojo would decline that proposal & instead opt for the 1 yr deal. I would think a multi-year deal amenable to both parties would either include a "significant" signing bonus &/or escalating salaries. 1
Freddie's Dead Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 I still live in fear of the unilateral fake FG, so I'm leaning towards resign. But given his performance this season, re-sign ROFR.
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 ROFR, the top punters are in the 3 mil a year range. I would give him 2.5 to 2 mil a year.
Returntoglory Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Are we serious here? This man has arguably THE BEST leg in the NFL.

Doc Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Just now, HOUSE said: Lock em up now with a nice little raise which will make him smile Arrggh. You quoted me after I posted and then erased it after doing more research. The original round tender (UDFA) still is a $2.133M amount. Bumping it up a little to keep him around wouldn't hurt too much. 1
Eastport bills Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Corey has been awesome. His mishits get great topspin rolls and his bombs flipped field position all year long. Who doesn't like this guy? 1
RobbRiddick Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Keep him, if you sewed his leg onto the body of Josh Allen you'd essentially have the Six Million Dollar Man 2
LABILLBACKER Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Toward the 2nd half of the season we finally saw him kick a few out of bounds inside the 10. He had a very good season . Resign
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 (edited) It’s not often punters are discussed in the cap casualty realm. keep. Highest paid punter in league is like 3 mil AAV right? Edited February 4, 2021 by Over 29 years of fanhood
BADOLBILZ Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Right of first refusal or a cheap long term deal. If you lose him draft one or sign one in UDFA. Beane has overpaid a lot for special teams to get to this point.........now that they are cap-strapped it's time to start watching what they spend on ST'ers.
