I think you need to add options for which tender the Bills should offer him 1st round 2nd round or Original (he was an UDFA)

I'm leaning towards 2nd round but we don't know yet what $$ that will be.   An Original round tender should be ~$2.2M, 2nd round maybe $3.4M

I like the kid and I think his best is yet to come.

Walk on starter at Bama....UDFA to starter with the Bills.

I love longshots and a 2m or so cap hit for a starting corner is a bargain :)

Resign him....I mean Re- sign him ;)

I’d give him the 2nd rd tender.  He’s earned that with his play.  That said, I believe he’s best suited as a 4th corner if we’re a super bowl or bust team.  If he’s our starter next year, I really hope that we’ve added a/some good pass rushers or have built a beastly OL

Definitely re-sign Wallace, and use the 2nd round tender, he's earned it.

I would also like to see Dane Jackson compete for the CB2 position.

Wallace is not spectacular, but he's gotten better. Although, if another team gives him an offer sheet, I will take the 2nd round pick for him.

I believe Beane said that Dane will have an opportunity to compete for CB2

I did hear him say that, and that's a good thing. We need more competition at this position.

Thanks for starting this topic, Yolo, look forward to your future threads.

One notable thing is that Wallace seemed to play better when platooning with Norman.  So continuing that platoon strategy with Jackson would be chill.  I like the idea of having 1) competition 2) quality backup at reasonable cost

I don't see how we don't make him the 2nd round offer at a minimum. He started most of the games the last two years and it is at worst quality depth- we paid Norman twice that. At that cost he needs to be on our roster.

Depending on what we tender him at

Hes a solid player at a premium position

first or second round tender he won’t get an offer

Anything other than that and I think he does

I think that is very much the case.

Which is why I voted for the 2nd round tender. At just another $1million or so, it makes too much sense.

Even in this off season, where cap is tight, I could see him getting a better offer than that tender, and for multiple years.

In the past, I think we haven't been aggresive enough in protecting guys like Levi, who are UDFA originally.

As someone else has said, it also has an element of reward to it, and there's no doubt he's earned that over the last two seasons.
