eball Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Story here. Yeah, that's bound to work out well. And the GM has already said Tua is the starter. What is Flores smoking? He arguably coached the Fish out of a playoff berth last season with his botching of the QB situation, and now he's on his 3rd/4th OC in three seasons. This division should be the Bills' to own for years. 5 4 1
Doc Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Sounds like Charlie Frye will also have a say. Too many cooks... 1
JohnBonhamRocks Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Early reports say for the first half of the season Studesville is going to coordinate the left side of the field, while Godsey coordinates the right side. Second half of the season they’re going to split it between even and odd quarters. 9
Malazan Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Makes total sense. One coordinator for Tua and when he craps the bed, one coordinator for Fitz. 11
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 The Dolphins saw how TSW treated Daboll after some losses; hell, after some wins! They'll just trot out one coordinator after a game, and when the reporters grouse, he'll just say, "Oh, he called that play!" 😁 1

TheFunPolice Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) Flores is getting too cute here. He's made a lot of mistakes, but he is still a promising coach. This is just goofy, though. As Socrates used to say on Twitter: "If you have 2 offensive coordinators, you don't have any." Edited February 2, 2021 by TheFunPolice 1 4 1

I doubt Fitz would return with Gailey leaving and likely being a backup. I'm sure he'll go somewhere that has a rookie QB that needs a seasoned backup behind him to see if he can start again as seems like Fitz doesn't want to be a backup anymore. 1
Don Otreply Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 I just so enjoy seeing our opponents aim at their own feet, now we get to watch them squeeze the trigger. It’s awesome. 2
TheFunPolice Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Fitz on the Colts would be a lot of fun. 1
Roundybout Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Lmao we tried the two coaches thing with the Ryan Bros on defense. That worked out really well. 12 minutes ago, Doc said: Sounds like Charlie Frye will also have a say. Too many cooks... You mean Browns legend Charlie Frye?? 1
Jauronimo Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 I'm guessing one Co-OC handles the day to day stuff and the other Co-OC focuses on the big picture stuff. 5 1

frostbitmic Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 One OC to draw up plays for Tua and one to start drawing up plays for Watson, just in case. Fitz could wind up starting for the patriots or the WTF's (Washington Team Football)

GunnerBill Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 I mean so basically did San Francisco last season and they made the Superbowl....... admittedly that was a different situation because their HC calls the plays anyway and is an offensive guy. They are basically making Studesville run game coordinator and Godsey passing game coordinator. I don't think that in itself is flawed. But they need to work out who calls the plays.
