Bills to let Milano test FA market.  That’s all.

Not surprised in the least.

no you dont.

Seriously. If you could find a guy like Milano in the 3rd round every year we could easily bring him back for significantly less money than what he is going to get.

Good. Like the guy but as others have said you find guys like him in the 3rd round every year for way less money.

You don’t.  He’ll be a loss.

But the Bills need to make some hard choices, as Beane said

He's earned the right to see what his value is in the open market.   This is his best opportunity that he will most likely ever see to have maximum earning power for his career.  If the market is soft then the Bills may be able to get him at an attainable rate.

Timing is kind of weird on this story.  Free agency is still 4 weeks away.  Either Bills have no interest in bringing him back or they are so far apart in negotiations they’ve mutually decided to move on.

Losing him creates too big a hole at LB which is especially important in this defense.  We don't have a replacement and you can never count on a rookie.  Bite the bullet.  Franchise tag him and give him and Edmunds one more year of an evaluation before dishing out a big contract.
