During the drought, I always looked at the schedule and lamented that we didn't get any of those - all 1:00 except for the Thursday Night slot, most seasons. Now, I already miss the 1:00 Sunday games when we don't have them. I guess it's fun playing at night, but I feel like it motivates worse teams more, and messes up the week (as well as my Sunday routine). I’m all for 1 pm on Sundays, but then again I get up at 5am at the latest on workdays.
UKBillFan Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 If the Chiefs win the SuperBowl then I reckon we’ll travel there for Thursday night football. If the Bucs win then it’s between ourselves, the Saints (more likely if Brees strings it out for another season, but that’s improbable) or the Cowboys, with Dak’s return. The schedulers might be liking the look of the line ups should the Chiefs win as they could have us going there on Thursday night and the Bucs travelling to the Pats for the Sunday night game. 1
RiotAct Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 I guess Bills-Bucs makes sense too, especially with the “Buffalo vs. their tormentor” storyline.

Looking to come up for a game this year. time to bring back the 70's , 80's memories again... man I grew up in that place.. . Joe Ferguson, Bob Chandler, Bert Jones (?!) remember those guys?.. Ugh. Don't remind me. Buffalo blew a 14-0 lead at Baltimore in 1980. I broke out balling as a child. Edited January 31, 2021 by chongli

Still remember when he beat the Jets at Shea Stadium with that long pass to Joe Cribbs with only a few seconds left. I was there and it was so sweet driving home after the game with all the upset Jets Fans!!! GO BIllS...... Those were the days. Ferguson, Grant, McKenzie, Dobler, Butler, Jones, Devlin, Lewis, Williams, White, Bermuda Triangle, Hooks, Romes, Mike-Mayer, Cater! Ahhh..the memories.

I hope we finally get the hard knocks nod to see us in a bigger spotlight as well! The NFL would be better off putting the Browns at Chiefs week one. The Browns gave the Chiefs a good game and might have pulled off the upset if that WR didn't fumble the ball at the goal line. The Bills basically got their asses kicked by KC both times they played. 1

Yes. Maybe they could ask Mahomes to sit out of the final quarter of the opener too?

Even with Mahomes in there the Browns were still giving them a good game. Besides its always nice to see the Bills to start off the season 1-0. I would rather the Bills start the season against a **** team like the Jets.

We have to play them eventually - might as well get our hardest game of the season out of the way in week one. Of course if it’s another heavy defeat it might knock confidence so I guess I see the logic there.
