Expand That's the sad part of things like this. It's out there so the person now has a cloud of suspicion hanging over his/her head for the rest of their lives. Unless someone comes forward and takes the blame. And even then some will believe he/she was paid to do it.

Everyone is in such a rush to be the first to break "news" that they don't bother to verify things. And some are just so desirous to believe it. I won't hold my breath waiting for the apologies. 2
