Cygnus99 Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 I keep hearing about how the NFL plans to have 17 games , that extra game would be at a neutral site or an international location ? The Buffalo Bills play the NFC Central plus one additional NFC opponent ? I am not sure if this will happen or not
djp14150 Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 (edited) The single game is against the 2019 division by finish placement. Buffalo plays Washington. In 2022 then play the nfc west based on placement in 2021 season, in 2023 they play nfc south placement ( play full division in 2021) the uncertainty is if this is considered a neutral site game that coukd be played internationally post covid. poblano Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 At the end of regular season the league said will be the NFC east champion
Albany,n.y. Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 We're getting a huge break playing Washington. That game might be the decider for home field in the playoffs.
djp14150 Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Post covid you coukd have 17 international/ neutral site games. you could have 3 games in canada 3 in Mexico 2 in germany 4 in London 2 in china 1 in japan 2 in Australia/ New Zealand (Mid November games from Australia or New Zealand work well for USA night games because 8 pm Saturday is noon Sunday in Melbourne
Mark Vader Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 We will probably learn more about this during Super Bowl week. The owners usually have a meeting beforehand. 1

Assuming Covid isn't a thing Buffalo in Toronto makes more sense.
