dbfla10 Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 There is no doubt Diggs is going to ask for more money. Deandre Hopkins yearly salary is going to be nearly twice that of diggs. Diggs is going to ask for more money, and based on other contracts he deserves it. I know he has 3 full seasons left, but so did hopkins before his trade. Going to be very tough to afford these two unless the bills ride out Allens contract till his 5th year, which I think is best. 4 1 1 1 2 1
TBBills Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Just like how all those other teams can afford more than one good player... 5 1
Warcodered Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 How do the Chiefs afford Mahomes, Hill, and Kelce? They figure it out. 5 1 1 1

No chance they wait on allens contract. they’ll find a way to make it happen. you shouldn’t worry about it.

Not worried it was a question? Allen wont get 30mil plus? Hopkins just sign and will be getting on avg 25mil, Diggs isnt going to want the same?

dbfla10 Posted January 26, 2021 Author Posted January 26, 2021 Off course the Bills can afford both, but how big of an impact will it have on the rest of the roster... Look at what has happened to the seahawks after Wilson got paid.

Maybe there is a team credit card? That is the American way! 1

dbfla10 Posted January 26, 2021 Author Posted January 26, 2021 You all realize Mahomes only accounted for 5mil towards the cap this year. So using him as an example doesnt work 1 1 1 1

Are you seriously suggesting that the Bills allow Allen to basically become a free agent before paying him? The whole idea of reworking these contracts for your rookie franchise QB is to show him that he's your guy and to allow the team to get the most advantageous CAP friendly deal they can get. To do otherwise would be insane on the Bills part. There is a zero chance that Bean doesn't rework Allen's contract this off season. 2 1

Greg S Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Curious to see what the salary cap will be next year. The league did take a financial hit this year.
