I'm hoping we release Addison and Butler (and maybe jefferson too) and sign either Carl Lawson, Romeo Okwara, or Trey Hendrickson. Young and effective pass rushers that won't command huge money.

I know it’s would be a luxury FA addition, but Lockett would be a fun add. He’s a baller and makes awesome catches

You’re a year early. He’s a free agent next offseason.

Well, you were wrong for listening and he was wrong for speaking. Chicken or the egg?

For once my main hope is that the team simply retains its players and then uses the draft to add the 1-2 pieces and depth needed to get the team over the top. I hope the cap can be set at 205 million which would hopefully allow for them to resign Milano, D.Williams, Mongo, Levi, Ty (I don't know why everyone is so willing to let him go he is a great depth swing tackle), Roberts, and T.Jones. I assume a few cuts will take place (V.Butler and Lee Smith would be 9 million saved) but I hope they mostly keep the roster intact free up space by restructuring guys like Klein, Brown, Hughes, Addison, Mitch and Jefferson.

I would love to bring back Mac and Barkley but I think you have replacements in Fromm and Hodgins on the roster, although if the Bills get priced out of Roberts, maybe bring back Mac to field kicks. Then use the 30th overall pick to find an edge rusher and the 62nd overall pick to fill another possible need. Use the rest of your picks to fill out depth and get young players at positions where you are older. It will be interesting to see if the Bills try to run it back or if larger scales cuts are done. I think it is likely we see a surprise cut or two but hopefully they can keep the core intact and add those few pieces needed.

With a ~$180M cap, even if the Bills cut/trade Morse, Brown, Singletary, Smith, Hyde, Addison, Jefferson, and Gaines, they still only have around $38M in cap space which is not even enough to re-sign their own (Milano, Williams, Feliciano, and four or five others). It might be barely enough with creative structuring.

PFF has Milano rated 37th and Williams as 40th rated free agents...

So...

I suspect both will move onto greener pastures so Cody Ford shifts to RT and possibly resign Feliciano is the best I think we can do.  In that case I can argue that the starting line returns and the depth would be younger and maybe a vet on a one year deal.

Replacement LB is already on team with a second or third round pick to be spent here...I have us taking CB in first round opposite Trey as we dont have the cash to shopping for the vet we have done in the past.

Remember to factor the 30+M for an extension for Josh Allen into your free agent budget this year.  We never had to do that but then again never had a franchise qb worthy.

Josh Allen's extension will not hit the books this year. If it does, it's gross mismanagement. If it's similar to the Mahomes deal, really big money wouldn't start until 2023.

Nice to meet you too. I wasn’t the one listening to Cowherd, nor was I the one who had my facts wrong. If you’re so easily offended that’s another strike against you. I’d tell you to have a nice day, but that’s unlikely based on your crappy attitude.

Brian hill on the cheap, john ross ( fastest player in the league) both hand me downs with something to prove.  They both would take whatever contract offered.

Jackson isn't a free agent.

Who are the best FA pass rushers ? We should rush for them, can’t pass

Some of the options (ignoring whether or not we can afford them):

  • Shaq Barrett (almost certainly staying in Tampa)
  • Yannick Ngakoue
  • Carl Lawson
  • Jadeveon Clowney
  • Melvin Ingram
  • Bud Dupree
  • Leonard Floyd
  • Trey Hendrickson
  • Matt Judon
  • Haasan Riddick
  • Romeo Okwara

I’d take a flyer in John Ross.  We can’t afford big names this off-season most likely so Beane will have to get creative.

Plus with diggs providing leadership, he might pull his head outta his backside
