Roberts return yardage is impressive. Still hasn't broken one for a TD though. He's old, and Cordarelle Patterson is a free agent.

Roberts is a good return man yet offers little else. You can say same of Patterson. I'd like to see McKenzie and a rookie depth RB/WR/DB in the mix next year.

Roberts took a step back this year. 3 fumbles, the horrible decision to bring out that almost lost the colts game, the titans game INT. McKenzie runs one back the one game he does not play. He’s 33 and I’d rather be too early than too late. Time to move on. McKenzie has been becoming increasingly reliable.  A higher number for him makes sense if he’s the designated return specialist.

2nd round tender for RFA’s projected to be $3.4m.  Original round tender $2.2m.  Not a huge fan of Wallace, but kind of a no brainer to bring him back for $3.4m.  Corners aren’t easy to find.  If Bills original round tender him at $2.2m somebody will give him more money than that and not owe the Bills anything because he was an undrafted free agent.  Can’t see the Bills making any splash signings in the secondary other than drafting a big nickel to cover Tight Ends.

I know there is a lot of love for Feliciano but I wonder how much of that is due to him rocking Cole Beasley like a baby for a TD dance and the fire and emotion he shows versus the actual pass blocking and overall OL he is.

I wouldn't mind him back but beware of the overpay.

This is Brandon Beane's 2nd more important off season since 2018 when he had to nail the QB pick and he did. This off-season will tell the fortunes of the Bills from 2021-2023. It's HUGE

Well, I think looking at Milano's play and his effect on the defense overall strictly through the lens of tight end coverage is over-simplifying it a bit. Furthermore, the Bills DID erase Mark Andrews against the Ravens, and that was largely Milano's doing.

Last night's pre-game show put up a graphic showing that in the first 10 weeks of the season, the Bills were something like 26th in points allowed. In the final six weeks of the season, they were 2nd in points allowed. To me, it's no coincidence that their period of greatly improved play lined up with Milano's return to good health. There was also the statistic that, prior to last night, they were 12-0 with Milano in the lineup and 3-3 without him.

Milano is a sideline-to-sideline run defender, a quality pass defender, a good blitzer, and a generally high quality player who is just coming into the prime years of his career. He also plays a premium position in McDermott's defense. To my eyes, the difference in our defense with and without him in the lineup is night and day. I will continue to be puzzled by many Bills fans' ambivalence towards him and willingness to let him walk just because....well I'm not really sure WHY, even.

Milano is a keeper, but think we could still add a Kyle Dugger type in the draft, so we can run some different coverage options and protect against injuries.

Regarding final 6 games, Herbert and Ben were the only quality QBs faced.  And Ben was struggling at that point, while Herbert seemed to be hitting a rookie wall.

Not discounting anything, but that played a big difference too.

All said, Milano and Edmunds have a real good chemistry.  Our bigger issue is on the front 4

If at all possible, I’d like the following brought back:

LB Matt Milano
OL Jon Feliciano
WR Andre Roberts
OL Daryl Williams
S Dean Marlowe
WR Isaiah McKenzie

Cut Jefferson if need be. Don’t cut Brown.

I think it’s a no brainer to move on from Hughes this year.  Would save 7.5m in cap room.  Good guy and player but the production isn’t there anymore.  Need better pass rushers.

Feliciano and Williams..we'll miss the rest but keeping most of the O line is paramount....need a much better center but darn depending on a rookie would be really taking a chance..thats the only reason to keep Morse

My thoughts

Resign/Tender:

Roberts - Extremely valuable to our Special Teams

Milano - My second most important FA resign

Williams - My most important FA resign

Wallace - I believe is an RFA

McKenzie - Use him in motion, jet sweeps, could be our return guy in a year or two depending on Roberts

T. Jones - Special Teams Ace

Marlowe - Underrated on this board.  Steps in admirably when Hyde/Poyer go down and knows the system

Dont resign:

Kroft - not enough impact and was scratched often

Murphy - Not worth the money/invest in drafted DE

Norman - Not worth the money/bring up Dane Jackson

Nsekhe - Isnt needed

Feliciano - Ford can replace him at RG for cheap - would sign him as a backup but I doubt he would take that little to retain

Winters - Again, COULD be backup at a low value but I doubt we would get him for a price I would be ok with

Barkley - Let Fromm backup and invest the money elsewhere

Yeldon - I dont mind him, but this is a loaded FA class, see who sits and can be scooped up late

Andre Smith (although if he could be had at the min. I would do it)

I agree with a lot of what you said except two.  The lone completely changed when Feliciano was and anchor for the team.  I’ve been a Roberts proponent for awhile but if you had make a tough choice, you live with McKenzie as he more reliable in too many positions.  Roberts is a nice to have, whereas McKenzie even played CB one game when a lot of guys were hurt.  He’s versatile.

Just cut these SEVEN for a total CAP SAVINGS of $37 mil and start over on the DL and sign who you wish!

Jefferson, Butler, Addison plus Hyde, Singletary, Morse & John Brown!!

Cutting Singletary who is on a 3rd round rookie deal makes no sense especially since he's produced at times. Cutting Hyde and Morse without a replacement on the roster makes little sense as a free agent replacement likely going to cost more.

Same here, sorry Jerry, but your money is needed elsewhere.
