I actually think it would be a better story if Buffalo had to beat Brady for their 1st super bowl after Brady dominated the Bills over his career, and they have to do it in Tampa’s stadium
gobills404 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 10% chance to win if they go for it vs 9% by going for the field goal. Not a very big difference. They're probably banking on Brady throwing another pick.
Matt_In_NH Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 I can’t see the argument for the fg there.
Juice_32 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Baltimore would have rolled either of these teams. Super Bowl is tonight.
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 This season and playoffs I am amazed at some of the coaches decisions to kick. Like is this analytics statistical stuff at play? Know your team and the feel of the game. Plus you have Aaron Rodgers.
BuffaloRebound Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Wow. A smart play in the midst of a bunch of terrible plays. 1

Can someone who understands analytics explain this to us? So basically let's assume it's a 35% chance of converting the TD and a 90% chance of hitting the FG, meaning that the expected points for the FG is 2.7 and the expected points for going for it is 2.1. Add in that LaFleur is 100% a coward and it makes sense.

Freddie's Dead Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 That was actually smart. Saves a TO to take the Offside. TB should have declined it.

Matt_In_NH Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Rodgers made an awful decision on third down. Looked like he had a chance and certainly would have gotten it closer. That pass had no chance
GunnerBill Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 What do you do here? Throw play action or run it and punt?
dma0034 Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Listen, I doubt coaches read this but for a modest salary a year I'll make your game time decisions!
