stevestojan Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Just now, Chewmylegoff said: How the hell can they describe that Brady interception as “not all bad”. It was horrific! It was Aikman. I think, and it’s tough to translate his logic, that it wasn’t so bad because it was SECOND down and at least it was a long pass. He’s so bad at this job. 1
RobbRiddick Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 This game seemed to turn on Whitehead's injury 1
Freddie's Dead Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Oh Lord, won't cha buy me, a Marcedes Benz?
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2021 Author Posted January 24, 2021 3 minutes ago, Boxcar said: Why do people hate Brady so much? He's one of the most incredible stories in all of sport. Now, he's going to take an also-ran team to the Superbowl in his first season at age 43. He is incredible. Just feels like some people miss the forest for the trees. What we are watching will almost certainly never happen again. Really? Because he achieved a lot of his success with a team that institutionalized “ruthless pursuit of a competitive advantage” past the point of poor sportsmanship and into outright cheating. Because his status as a GOAT brought him “benefit of the doubt” with OL holding and roughing. Because the team’s status as a GOAT team brought an officiating blind eye to OPI and actual assaults like Gronkowski blindside smashing Tre White in the back of the neck and resulted in “Just Give It To Them”. Because some believe he took off-the-books compensation through the TB12 clinic and Alex Guerrero, who has a past history as a charletan pushing phony cancer treatments -there is nothing more despicable than peddling false hope to people with cancer. Because there are questions as to whether he’s using shady medical methods to prolong his career. Is it the Avocado ice cream and the heavy hydration, or are other products involved? Now in fairness, Brady is not personally responsible for some of that, maybe much of that, but he benefited. I’m not trying to tell you those are reasons to overlook Brady’s undeniable hard work and focus and incredible success, but you asked why people hate Brady so much. That’s why. IMO one reason why Brady wanted to leave NE is to show that he could have success away from the Patriots Way. I don’t think you should consider Tampa an “also ran” team. They have a lot of talent and Arians is a good coach 1 2
BearNorth Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Green Bay has large running backs that can catch and run with the ball, what a novel idea.
stevestojan Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 If they score and don’t go for 2, it just proves that analytics have gone too far.
Freddie's Dead Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 No way the Pack settles for a FG here. 4 down territory.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2021 Author Posted January 24, 2021 Rodgers did NOT have to throw it away. He had a receiver in the flat
whatdrought Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Why does it seem like so many of Rodgers' pass attempts are one read plays where he has no second option?
Freddie's Dead Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 C'mon Aaron, give Adams a chance to make a play.
PetermansRedemption Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 If you call that penalty you should have to pull the offended player for concussion check.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2021 Author Posted January 24, 2021 YES! Adams! Now we have a game
