It sounds has though you not only attend, but are also a sponsor for the event.

Per the article, Allen’s father has been battling Covid and pneumonia and was hospitalized earlier this month and won’t get able to go to the game

Joel and LaVonne Allen, who have two sons and two daughters, seldom miss one of Josh’s games. They fly all over the country every fall weekend to see him play. But Joel won’t be at Sunday’s game because he’s recovering from the coronavirus and a bout with pneumonia that landed him in the hospital this month.

That's an awesome story.

I am getting antsy about this game, whew! Three decades since I was a kid in WNY going to Bills games, and Sabres with Mogilny Turgeon Lafontainne. Those were good times! Strange, getting old!

The article no longer mentions anything about coronavirus. It now says “severe case of pneumonia.”

Thanks for posting @YoloinOhio. Shows Allen, no-kidding, had to work those fields, and so reader gets a tactile feel for  his work ethic.

Which leads me to...JA should change from pre-game Sinatra to the following:**

Working in the fields, til you get your back burned.

Working 'neath the wheels, til you get your facts learned.

Baby I got my facts, learned real good right now! (fr "Badlands")

*Flamers: I'm not a fan of lyric posting, to say the least...it's teen-ish, and I'm hitting 50! But, just this one time kids, dad gets to break his own rules.

(Edit: pre-post, didn't see there was a whole thread on, basically, lyric posting!)

From others, I would believe this. From you, I am thinking something else.  From \GoBillsInDallas/ I am thinking 'bosoms'. 🤔
