Both Gabe and Vernon got in a LP. Both Questionable for Sunday.

I'm more concerned about Butler's availability than Davis. We have people who can replace Davis, Butler is a key clog in the middle, and he can create pressure. Given a choice, I want him more than Davis.

Well when you can't run the ball...

Play action works even when you don't run the ball well.........and you can also throw to RB's.     Going 5 wide is the formula for needing to throw the ball 15 times on a drive to score a TD..........which is what turnover-centric defenses WANT you to do.

I don't know.  If we get more great play from the DL depth then he won't be missed so much. Davis on the other hand has been stellar and we really have no one that can assume that role without a significant drop.

I know, would love to have both.

The whole Bills offence runs through Allen and the passing game. If Davis is limited and cannot play thats a big problem. You can’t count on the same production from a guy like Stills or Kumerow who are essentially air dropped in and with whom Allen doesn’t have the same familiarity and who just aren’t as good anyway. If Beas is limited the way he was against the Ravens thats an even bigger problem. All he was able to do against Baltimore was run the same shallow crossing route over and over again. That leaves most of what he brings off the table. When healthy he’s a lot more than a third down conversion specialist. He’s a major playmaking option for Allen pretty much anywhere up to the outer boundaries of the intermediate zone with some YAC ability. I don’t like it.

Its a problem if Butler can’t go too. He’s better than some give him credit for and he’s about the only big body they have on the DL.

As for the Chiefs, PM’s turf toe will certainly limit his mobility especially as the game wears on. Not only will he be less able to scramble for crucial yards when that’s his best or only option, but many of his best and biggest throws are made outside the pocket and on the run.

If I had my druthers I’d like to see everybody healthy. Thats the matchup I would want to see. If that were the case I’d see this game as even money.

Beasley was hampered against the Ravens and it was painful to watch at times, but that last is just simply baloney.  I know it's hard to see the routes guys are running on broadcast film, and it can be hard to pick out which receivers are running which routes on all-22, but no, Beasley did not run "the same shallow crossing route over and over again" 🙄.  I agree that Beasley is much more than a 3rd down conversion option, and in fact served as such in the Colts game, knee and all.

Agreed.  He's been playing 50-60% of the snaps at DT, often at 1T

Gabe is playing.  Played the rest of the game after his ankle tweak, then rested up and got treatment sun-thrs and practiced yesterday.

He's not a big plant and cut speed guy anyway, he's a zone buster with a big catch radius.  Dont worry Mafia, our 4th round-shlda-been-early2nd round draft pick will be out there lookin to go to 8TD's on the year.
