EDIT:  My original thread was merged into this thread.  My thread was about Mahomes past history of a concussion.

@YoloinOhio started a thread about the stages of concussion protocol.

Mahomes' status hanging in the balance is a big advantage for the Chiefs. Bills players will be hoping all week he won't play, and then he'll probably be cleared late in the week. This will be a psychological hurdle and a challenge for the coaching staff. My advice is to prepare exclusively for Mahomes and tell the players HE'S PLAYING.

Looked more like his neck got bit tweaked more than a hit to the head, but then again concussions & causes can be weird.

He also had a turf toe issue in the first half that looked bothersome.

Most concussions are whiplash related. So the neck could have been the cause

I am sure they will be prepared for whomever they face...

Just to start the discussion that is inevitable.

Jeez, that hit knocked all the blue from the left side to the right side of his helmet...

regardless of talent. too many hits like that and today will end a career, even life. ironic that two of the top afc Qbs were taken out of a playoff game due to concussion. just shows how violent.

Joe Montana's career ended by a concussion in a playoff game back in 1993.

He looked the same way today after the hit.

I'm just saying it seems to affect him greatly.
