SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 17, 2021 Author Posted January 17, 2021 Lamar and the Ravens are better A 27 year wait. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30726883/buffalo-bills-beat-baltimore-ravens-advance-first-afc-championship-game-1993-season If the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs win, the Bills will travel to Arrowhead Stadium for the game next Sunday at 6:40 p.m. ET. If the Browns win, the AFC Championship Game will be played in Orchard Park, New York, next Sunday at 6:40 p.m. ET. https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/01/17/bills-beat-ravens-advance-afc-championship-game Folding table owners around the Northeast, be advised: the Bills wagon is rolling on. 2
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 17, 2021 Author Posted January 17, 2021 https://www.nfl.com/news/josh-allen-bills-blow-past-ravens-for-divisional-round-win On a windy night in Buffalo in which kicks and passes alike floated into the unknown, the fifth-seeded Baltimore Ravens and second-seeded Buffalo Bills earned every point they could get. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs scored the game's first touchdown and Bills defensive back Taron Johnson's electric 101-yard interception return for a score essentially sealed it, Bills vs. Ravens score: Historic pick-six lifts Buffalo https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-vs-ravens-score-historic-pick-six-lifts-buffalo-lamar-jackson-exits-with-injury-as-bills-advance/live/ Why the Bills won That defense, man. It's kind of funny how Sean McDermott's prized unit basically took a back seat to Josh Allen's rocket-armed offensive showcase this year, only to resurface here and almost literally win the Bills their first AFC title-game bid since 1993. Everyone played well, from Micah Hyde collapsing on wideouts to Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds containing Lamar Jackson to Tre'Davious White and Taron Johnson (!) suffocating the passing windows. Allen was good enough to manage the lead after connecting with Diggs to cap one of the night's few seamless drives, and both Diggs and John Brown showed up, but this one was all about Buffalo's "D." Johnson will be a staple in Bills lore for that pick-six.

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 17, 2021 Author Posted January 17, 2021 (edited) Buffalo didn't have the offensive performance many expected, but they became the first team in NFL history to win a playoff game by 14 points despite being outgained on the ground by 120 yards (per Stathead's Katie Sharp). The Bills were just the second team over the past 10 years have been held to less than 225 yards in a playoff game and win, joining the 2015 Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-become-first-team-in-nfl-history-to-accomplish-rare-offensive-feat-in-playoff-victory-over-ravens/ Edited January 17, 2021 by SlimShady'sSpaceForce

Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 The last time the Bills were in the AFC Championship game, I was 5 and just barely, vaguely remember that win over Joe Montana and the Chiefs. But the Divisional the week before is one that I actually remember a lot, because I remember that I was allowed to have two Oreos after Sunday dinner, which I did. Then I was sitting on the couch with my brothers, wrapped in a yellow blanket and watching the game, when I decided I wanted a third Oreo. Knowing I wasn't allowed, I chose to go downstairs and lie to my mom, telling her I had only had one. I then remember getting a chair, reaching up into the cupboard, and grabbing the Oreo. I felt so guilty. And before yesterday, that was the last time the Bills advanced to the title game. 1
