whatdrought Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 an interesting idea. personally I would tell anyone I liked to stay farrrrr from that place. That being said, we’d get a couple third rounders if it did happen. 1
Beast Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Frazier is a solid guy. I think he would do well there. 2
Logic Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 I like Frazier. I also like third round draft picks 🤔 9 4 3
Coastie Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Would only wish him well if he gets the gig but selfishly I want to keep the band together. But it is true the extra 3rds would ease the pain a bit. 2
Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Leslie. Don't do it. That franchise is screwed for the next couple of years. You are just being set up to fail there. 3 2
Logic Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 One thing is for sure: with how meticulously prepared Beane and McDermott are and how attractive these Bills coordinator jobs are now, I have absolute faith that good replacements will be found. 4

BuffBillsForLife Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 This topic will potentially be a gold mine in 9 hours. That said I'm fine if Frazier leaves, even if we weren't getting draft picks out of it.

Frazier is much harder because it’s so much harder to tell what his specific value is. I’d be fine with finding out, but I’m happier to keep him. Replacing our missing 4th with a 3rd would be very nice though...
Process Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 I would absolutely trade Frazier for two 3rd round picks. This defense could use a bit of a reset anyways. Lots of fat to cut this off-season. And we need to start hitting on some draft picks. 4 1

That’s essentially saying you’d trade him for Dawson Knox and Zach Moss, which I think most of us would....
GunnerBill Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 I can see the attraction of a calming presense type like Frazier to Houston's ownership. But I am not sure it is enough to quell the locker room and Watson in particular.
YoloinOhio Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 (edited) I think the Bills have a DC in waiting with John Butler (DB coach) or Eric Washington (DL coach). Frazier would bring a calming presence to the Texans who are in complete chaos right now. Edited January 16, 2021 by YoloinOhio 2
Doc Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Even though Houston is a dumpster fire and will be for several years...you can't pass-up a HC'ing gig if offered.

Washington’s DL hasn’t done much in his first year to make me jump at the idea that he’s deserving of a promotion. 1

I 100% feel that was Mcdermott. I think they hire from within or outside does really matter its Mcdermotts scheme and defense. He just does not handle the game day calling of plays.
