My only hope with allen is he decides that the team is more important than his salary. I don't want to hear about the workings of salary structures because your a quarterback, or defensive end, or corneback. Cause non of them works without there supporting cast. Quarterbacks can't do it without out top quality WRs, and at least decent O-Line play. WRs can't do it with out good quarterback play and O-Line play. DEs can't do it without at least decent DB play and vise versa. When are they going to get it that they're playing lives depend on each other. And not looking at one another saying I make you better, no I make you better. It's symbiosis. Look it up. Just because the players union or owners union say you should make the much, doesn't mean you have to totally screw over the team your on because someone says you should make a certain amount. Do you really wanna look at your friend and say, sorry bro that's just how it worked out , good luck with your next team. Or do you wanna keep as many as your hard working teammates together to get to the goal you set out to make, TOGETHER

You think that top 3 wins us a super bowl. I want some of that, and I thought some vodka was kinda sweet., We're never drafting for now, we're drafting for 1-3 years down the road. How many times does breane have to say it. He's building for longevity. We've got our quarterback, thats 85 percent of the problem.

Those are players for now and the future. Collins is a hybrid safety/pass rusher that teams that can afford to really go BPA take when they’re going after a SB. Boogie is at worst a rotational piece for our aging DEs (Hughes and Addison) and Moore will replace Beasley in the slot soon enough when he hangs them up and if he can stay healthy he has an insanely high ceiling and an element to our WR corps we don’t yet have (remember Kansas City). My fake draft that won’t happen isn’t mortgaging the future it’s addressing both the now and then

I went with a few of GunnerBill's sleepers here...I had to take Smith-Marsette in the 3rd if I wanted him...McNeill replaces Star after 2021 season

That was fun. Did a 3 round version. Focused on the big uglies. Got Jenkins, Dickerson and Shelvin as well as 2 fifths next year.

I was listening to Richie Grant (S) on Sirius NFL radio at lunch yesterday, and he sounded exactly like a process guy. Talked about turning his program around, the importance of studying and academics to him as well as football, team bond and chemistry, just seemed like the type of guy that Beane and McDermott would love to have on defense as a depth player for now and possibly more later.

Harris and Grant as the first 2 picks?
