Yep, you guessed it.

Buffalo's five (5) first half drive starts yesterday (BUF yardlines).

And the Bills still took a lead into halftime.

Horrid field position for the Bills was one of many factors that went the Colts' way in that game yesterday.

We did well to find a way to win and move forward.

As I've been saying, special teams is the unit that really got totally rocked yesterday leading to difficult positions for the offense and defense. They should have started kicking it out of the end zone on kickoffs and taking the touchbacks. Should have put punts right on the sideline to go oob and sacrificed a few potential yards to prevent returns.

Throw in Daboll's unusual "commitment" to the run and the Bills were playing that game on hard mode for no reason.

I’m not a fan of Andre Roberts taking KOs out of the end zone with such frequency.

Not only is there the odds of not even making it to the 25 — like on a couple yesterday — but always the potential for holding penalties which back you up into a terrible series of bad field position. Roberts REALLY screwed us over to start the Tenn game this year and everything after imploded as well.

Yeah, that was crazy. I think it really dictated the play calling for much of the game.  They also almost pulled off the worlds longest onside kick, but thankfully Robert’s noticed in time and dove on it.

I get what you mean here but alot of it was the offenses fault not coverting a 3rd downs. Field position battles are alot harder with 3 and outs

Frank Reich explicitly state one of his keys to victory was field position strategy. Congratulations to him for his success.

Thank goodness he wasn't too successful in the bigger picture.
