BrainwashedBillsFan Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Sorry if this was already touched upon..... if Williams didn’t grab that fumble by his fingertips, could be a different story. Just another big play today. Go bills! 20 5 1
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 That particular type of sack/fumble where the QB tries to escape is so destructive because usually there aren't any OL around to recover it. When Allen gets extended Williams should get a nice car to drive to the golf course. 5 1
Matt_In_NH Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 For me he is the first guy I want to sign out of him feliciano and Milano. But probably the most expensive also. 5
Mark Vader Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Considering that Williams was one of the players that caused Allen to be put into that position, he damn well had better recover it. 2 1
Bangarang Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 I’ve said it before but I make him our top priority this offseason. 3 years $33m is my hope. 7 1
GunnerBill Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Was a heads up play but the ball took a funky spin to come back to him. That was legitimately just a "bounce of the ball" moment. 1

Feliciano was the more egregious of the two any normal situation and Williams blocked his guy long enough. 4
Big Turk Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Williams may have saved the game with his hustle on the only real "sugar high" Josh Allen play of the day... 1

hondo in seattle Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 As it was, it was a horrible, horrible play. But without Williams, it would have been so much worse. 1

True, Feliciano does deserve blame on that play as well. I'm not trying to disparage Williams, he got beat on the play, and it won't be the last time that happens to him. I still hope that Williams is in our future plans. 1

Hahaha I gotta rewatch and see but I’m sure you are right!
Kelly the Dog Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Williams was one of our unsung Almost Valuable Players the whole season, and this game. Decent, good and great teams need guys to make these kinds of plays when needed, whether they are lucky bounces or not. I, for one, have been thrilled with Williams since week one. 1 2

Let's keep riding this wave and making our own luck. 1
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 That was an “all heart & hustle” play. 2
