Part of it was both being backups and practicing together but Stevie had unique way of running routes to get to spots he needed to without necessarily running routes as written up. Fitz understood the adjustments me was making but CBs didn't especially Revis who was All-Pro at time. https://vault.si.com/vault/2013/11/04/the-case-for-stevie-johnson

peterpan Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) Id happily welcome him back if daboll leaves. Same goes for Anthony lynn. Both are good OCs and would likely be here for a long time without a HC opportunity presented to them. Edited January 6, 2021 by peterpan

I am actually a Gailey fan as an OC and what he can do with very little. But if Daboll leaves I wouldn’t be mad if Chan came in, but I don’t think Chan’s style fits with our offensive personality/personnel. Also, I think I’d prefer some continuity and move Dorsey up...assuming Daboll doesn’t take him with him. 1
Malazan Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Gailey can do a lot with a little and he does little with a lot. Great guy though. Class act all the way. 1
whatdrought Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Wow! What a roller coaster week it’s been on Chan Corner.

There were false social media posts about him leaving and I am wondering if some of them were rumors the Phish was Chan and Allen would be an interesting combination. Chan was very creative. Now if Fitzpatrick leaves it would leave no one on that team I would cheer for. If true, it would be ironic considering who he "rushed to the podium" to pick in 2010 😐
Buffalo ill Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Good luck, Chan! Seems like a good dude. I wish him well.
FastFreddy22 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) This is hilarious to me obviously as the O coordinator this shows how limited Chan felt bc of tuas limitations or the fact that he doesn't believe in Tua. I take it as good news for the bills https://dolphinnation.com/2021/01/06/tua-tagovailoa-being-named-next-seasons-starter-reason-chan-gailey-resigned/ Edited January 6, 2021 by FastFreddy22 1
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Flores has 2 years before he will be fired. If that Dolphins team finishes last in the division next year it could be sooner than later.

YoloinOhio Posted January 6, 2021 Author Posted January 6, 2021 It’s possible... but that Dan Sileo guy is a hack
Bangarang Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 This is probably a resign or be fired situation.
Fixxxer Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 If I'm not mistaken Chan prefers to work with veteran QBs, when he was our HC he couldn't wait to sit Edwards in favor of Fitz. I'm not saying this is what's happening right now in Miami, but I believe Chan Gailey is candid enough to say this won't work going forwards with Tua as his signal caller.

That works well for us so I disagree. Plus Chan was the last hc to have a great screen game here. 1
