Billsfan1972 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) Not Indy per se (though they are a good team). Just want to get "off the schneid".... Happy it is Saturday @ 1:00 (though Sunday 1:00 would have been ideal). Want an easy win and then will have the confidence going forward. While the Bills are not the 2019 Ravens, there is something about that first game that has me nervous (that and 25 years😉) Edited January 6, 2021 by Billsfan1972 13 2 1
TBBills Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) Bills are gonna destroy Indy. Average team with a bad defense and an over the hill QB. Yes please! Edited January 6, 2021 by TBBills 1 4

dollars 2 donuts Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) To paraphrase Bobcat Goldwait (spelling) I’m more worried about being carried away by army ants than I am about losing to Indy. ...still have to play hard, though. Edited January 6, 2021 by dollars 2 donuts 4 1
billsfan1959 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 It's the playoffs and it is a pretty strong field in the AFC from top to bottom. I don't think there are any "easy wins." I believe they will be prepared, and if they play at the level they have been playing over the last five weeks or so, then they are capable of beating any team they face. But I expect the games to be tough, starting with Indy. 8 2

Typically when good teams face elite teams in the playoffs they get destroyed.

If a win and Pitt is next, the worry will be playing the same team again and that they did control the Bills offense for the first half.... Yes it's all what it is to be a Bills fan and 1995-2019.......😜 1
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 There's no team in the AFC field that would shock me by pulling off an upset, unlike the NFC where a couple pattycakes made it in.

I would be more "worried" if we were playing the Ravens or Titans.
Magox Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 20 minutes ago, Canadian Bills Fan said: Not sure what you mean. Indy has one of the leagues best defenses Not really. They are strong against the run and have been very weak against the pass over the last half of the season. They also give up a lot of pass plays and have no good man to man corners. I would expect a lot of zone defense from them. As long as we can not allow Buckner to disrupt things sort of like Cam Hayward did in the first half of the Pittsburgh we should be able to carve them up. 1

I think a big part of his maturation this season is due to no fans and him being able to settle down more quickly. 1 1

SoCal Deek Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 What always worries me is the added variable of a running QB. The Colts certainly don’t have that in Old Man Rivers. We should be fine.

I am confident that our Offense will be able to out score them, even if they do put up points on us.
