If ever a post illustrates why you're at 22% Rep Points

While I agree with sentiment regarding the idiocy of this idea, the rep system is relatively new while post count is not, so older posters will have a lot of posts when there was no rep system.

I wish I had more hands so I could give this idea FOUR THUMBS DOWN!

Lynn was as clueless a HC as I have seen in this league.

We can do better for OC, if we need one.

No- we want to continue to run the same offense. I am not sure if Dorsey is ready but if so, elevate him of Daboll leaves.

I don't feel any strong impulse to bring him back but to his credit, he was outstanding here when he was thrust into the role of offensive coordinator.

He was innovative, aggressive and somehow managed to put together what I think was a Top 10 scoring offense with Tyrod freaking Taylor as his QB.

He won't end up back here, but wherever he does end up, somebody is going to be getting a very good offensive coach.

We've known that Daboll was a great play designer...and this year, we've seen him really excel as a play caller. That's the part that'll worry me if Daboll leaves for a HC gig. Whoever they chose to replace him, surely they'll be just as well versed in play designs and they'll sit with Josh and learn what he likes and doesn't like, etc. But it'll be the play calling that'll be key. Knowing the situations and having the right calls dialed up is something Daboll has excelled at this season.

If they go internal I gotta imagine Ken Dorsey is someone who would be strongly considered but I don't think he has any major play calling experience. I'd still feel pretty confident if they went with him. Former QB, has worked with Josh for a while now, knows the players, knows the system, etc.

If the thread title had a ? instead of a !, OP might not be fearful for his/her life.

My God, have you seen his decision making the last 3 games of the season...before playing KC backups. He is absolutely clueless on so many levels. I NEVER want to go back to that again....ugh

I live in LA but only follow the Bills.

I am a little surprised they fired Lynn because of the development of QB Herbert.

Herbert is the future of the franchise so a bit perplexed why they would change systems/regimes on their QB after a very successful rookie year.

Yeah Herbert had the most successful rookie season EVER by a QB.

Chargers gonna' charge.

But in this case I think it might be more about Tom Telesco getting to HIRE Brian Daboll rather than fire Lynn.

GM Telesco and Daboll are HS buddies from St. Francis..........I'd be surprised if Daboll went anywhere else..........only issue is that, as you certainly know,  the Chargers ownership may be even worse than 2000's Ralphy.

Lynn did a great job early with that sh*t show organization but being a black HC without a long history of coordinating success he would seem to have very little chance of getting hired outright by an unfamiliar franchise as a HC again.

His best shot to get back to a HC position is to go somewhere that the HC is on his last chance and maybe he can get an interim gig and win a HC job.

The Lynn Bills were 7th in the NFL in scoring........lead the NFL in rushing AND plays of over 20 yards...........and had yielded the fewest turnovers by any team since the merger thru 16 weeks in 2016.    The EJ/Cardale disaster in the finale tarnished that some but it was still the best offensive season the Bills had since mid-way thru the SB years.

Under Lynn.......Herbert just had the best statistical season for a rookie QB in NFL history.

The Bills system might be best left as it is.........but if Lynn doesn't get some good OC offers at least then something ain't right.
