It might change fan’s expectations of the post season if they know whether Beasley is done for the year or not...he was a major part of the offense...

Of course, what's more important than fans expectations!  The team owes it to the fans to tell them everything that they know.  We're entitled to know everything!

More to the story with Still signing. Beasley has to be done for the year.

McDermott has already said the two things are unrelated.

Sorry I forgot nfl coaches are always forthcoming with the media.

I've said it before McDermott may play things close to the vest but he doesn't just straight up lie to us.

If he was done for the year they would IR him to open up his roster spot.

If anything it shows they expect him back before the 3 game IR minimum.

Or, at least, the team is hoping he can be back by then...

The Bills will most likely be resting starters regardless.

Bease was going to be one of them.

2 weeks rest and rehab will help immensely

Still, the team kept him out there with 10:00 left up 38-9 and had Barkley throwing the ball on a night where Beasley had 3 catches for 17 yards up to that point.

McDermott can say what he wants about best for the team and all factors are weighed out, but keeping Beasley out there to get 33 yards led to his injury.

And now we just plow ahead with vague answers like it never happened. That all these WRs signing are just coincidences.

You would think that one of our insiders (Sal, Chris Brown) would know someone in the organization after 15 years covering the team that knows the story on Beasley, but instead they never have any information unless Adam Schefter breaks it for them.

If the team didn’t make any WR moves after having John Brown out for a month + with injuries and Covid, have an injury to Beasley, and lose Kumerow on the wire, that would be incredibly short sighted. We’re expecting a long playoff run, being able to bring in a guy the caliber of Kenny Stills at this point is an awesome backup plan.

Apparently, Schefter is the only one that has an “in” with Dunkirk Don.

Injuries are random, iirc Greenbay’s LT tore his ACL in practice the other day, the chances of injury are constant for the most part, again it’s random, although playing football does increase the odds of injury as compared to surfing a football team forum...

Go Bills!!!

Beasley was a DNP all week, and once again our reporters don’t press their questions.

Will Cole practice today? No he won’t.

Then we move right on to a safe feelings question.

How about - Hey Coach it’s been a four days now, what is Cole’s injury?

On Tuesday you said you didn’t have the details, do you have details yet?
Is it Season-Ending?

Dude is our #2 WR and it’s non-chalant here.

What exactly do you want to hear?  The injury is listed as "knee", so it's a knee injury.  Teams have no obligation to tell you it's a meniscus tear or a LCL sprain or a partial patellar dislocation, and players have a right to medical privacy.

McDermott tells us it's "week to week" so it's not considered season-ending at this time.  Depending upon how it heals or doesn't, still could be of course, but they don't know that it is at this time.

All this has come out in every presser.  Just what exactly do you want the reporters to do?

"Do you have the details yet?" "Yes" "What are they?"  "It's a knee injury"

"I demand to know if it's a ligament sprain and the medical grade of the sprain" "It's a knee injury"

"I demand to know if it's a season ending injury!"  "It's week to week, that hasn't changed in the last 10 minutes"

I mean, I criticize our press corps as much as anyone here - I think they stumble about making statements for several minutes then ask leading questions based on their statements instead of asking open-ended questions that can't be answered "yes" or "no".  But what exactly do you expect here?

Chris Brown is a Bills employee.  If he sneezes in a fashion the team does not approve, he's in trouble.

Looking for any kind of an excuse to bash the coach is pathetic.  Beasley got hurt because he ran a pattern and took a bad step trying to make a catch.  How many hundreds if not thousands of patterns has he run this year?  It’s football, it happens.  And if he had an injury requiring surgery they’d have done it by now.  Calm the hell down.

Stills is the insurance policy.

Good cover for Beasley or any WR injury or Covid absentees in the next 5 weeks.

Look what happened to the Browns last week at the Jets.

Maybe the OP should add a injury diagnosis poll so we can take our shot at guessing.

Perfect. Another 34 pages of back and forth b/n us, followed by angry replies from yours truly. Mayhem, murder all about.
