hemma Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Possible that Belichek was trying to get him, so Beane activated him?

It tells me that McD will sit Allen the moment he thinks the calculus swings toward "Allen Injury Avoidance" outweighs "Chance of Better Playoff Draw." And once he sit him, he sits him, with 2 other active QBs available. I don't think it says anything about Davis Webb that it wouldn't say about Josh Rosen or Brandon Allen or any of the other off-the-street FA QBs we could've signed instead. Webb is said to be very football savvy, "like another coach", and thoroughly versed in our offense - certainly something you couldn't say about an off-the-street FA QB signed during the season, and might not be able to say about one signed before the season. McCarron is far from the only QB to prove himself unable to function in, much less master, the E-P offense Daboll runs.
Freddie's Dead Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 What happened to Jake Fromm State Farm? 1 1

He is frequently seen wearing his mask "chin diaper" style when glimpsed in photos or video of practice or within the facility, and seems to feel that it's much more important to have his handsome viz captured on TV than to be properly masked on the sideline. He also has 3 kids, at least one of whom may be school age ie He might not be the best choice for Covid isolation. 1

The ones with step kids perhaps even more so because the universe of contacts is much wider.
Florida Bills Fanatic Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 If they get a lead and go run heavy, it doesn't make sense to risk injury to Allen or some others. I think this is about McD being prepared for various game scripts. In any event the Bills won't allow caution to put the game at risk.
Mat68 Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Problably one of the few guy left who they can send back to Ps with out passing through waivers. Back to PS once Brown is out of covid protocol? Problably one of the few guy left who they can send back to Ps with out passing through waivers. Back to PS once Brown is out of covid protocol? More likley, one of the few guy left who they can send back to Ps with out passing through waivers. Back to PS once Brown is out of covid protocol?
bmur66 Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 We might get to see the “Webb Package” tonight. 💪

Scott7975 Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Probably backup for next week if they rest Josh. Possibly also some kind of wildcat package. Daboll likes having some kind of trick play in his sleeve.
