Told ya.  His act is tiresome at this point.

Then what is the House voting on tomorrow?

He said at the beginning he would sign it if the stimulus checks were increased.  He said the spending was a joke.  He never said I'm vetoing the whole thing until the spending on gender studies in Pakistan is gone.

He said he'd sign it if the 600 figure was increased.

Pry the $2000 stimulus checks.  Slick move to put in on Congress but in the end he signed the big pork filled spending bill like he always does.

What good is it's a public vote so each official has to actually go up to the podium and say Yes/No on the $2000. So we will know who hates the American people. I doubt they would say no to the millions for furniture and lunch parties.

According to the WH, the Traitor-in-Chief has signed the covid relief bill ... long enough to make sure that his temper tantrum made Christmas miserable for millions of Americans.

And yet tens of millions love him. That's scary

I blame the Senate for waiting months just to get this done also.

They were told not to celebrate Christmas.  Not to travel.  And reconsider being with families.

But yes Trump holding off on a relief bill that paid the little people $600 for destroying their lives with zero end in sight (because mitigation will not end in your lifetime) totally pushed people over a cliff.

Both can be true.  There was no reason for Trump to put up a fuss when he was just going to sign it anyways and give people extra anxiety.  If he really wanted people to get $2,000 checks he should've criticized the Dem House when they passed a bill last September that provided another round of $1,200 checks.  He should've told Republicans months ago (when they were anti any stimulus checks) there's no way in hell I'm signing a bill that only includes $600 checks.  All I really saw is laziness and apathy on his part throughout the whole process.

His selfish temper tantrum cost the millions of "little people" who are unemployed a week's unemployment since they will only qualify for 10 more weeks instead of the 11 weeks they would have qualified for if he had signed the bill before midnight on Saturday.     The millions of people who ran out of unemployment benefits before or effective Saturday will have to wait another week before their benefits resume.

How exactly does the relief bill destroyed people's lives?

Looking like a No from many republicans on the $2k

It would eat into their expensive lunch parties and they might miss out on that mahogany oak table they been eyeing.

Still, a number of Republicans have come out against the larger checks. Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas), the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, said the money would be better used by giving it directly to small businesses to increase hiring.

“Will this stimulate our local economies?” Brady said on the House floor. “Not a lot. What we know is that much of this extra [money] will go to pay down credit card debt, or savings, or even make new purchases online at Walmart, Best Buy, or Amazon.”

OMG! You mean consumer spending will increase? No way. It isn't like consumer spending is the backbone of our economy or anything. Duh!
