wjag Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Nice. 6700 for WC Weekend. Then 12000 for Divisional round. Then 20000 when they host the AFCCG after Tenny beats KC. Make it so. 4
JY422 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 lame number but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

dwight in philly Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Thats all? was hoping for 15 to 20 thousand.. but will take it..

BuffBills51 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 How are they going to determine which 6700 fans get into the games? I would assume it will be a lottery system for season ticket holders.

I guess we are! 36 minutes ago, Jay_Fixit said: Yeah, 6700 is much more lame than 0. Incorrect sir... but it is much more lame than 6701 or... 9182 or... 11,006. I'm just saying... you can fit a lot more than 6700 fans in the stadium while still enforcing 10ft of social distancing. All I'm wanting is for our players to have the experience of playing a home playoff game in front of as many BillsMafia as possible. Nothing nefarious going on here I assure you.

SCBills Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I’ll take it. I have my personal feelings that certainly don’t align with the views of the NYS Gov, but something is better than nothing and if that number is 6,700, so be it. The select few that get tickets, and the players not having to play their playoff game(s) in an empty stadium, deserve it.
PirateHookerMD Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 A negative test or proof of vaccination seems like it would be reasonable if they want to be very conservative.
RaoulDuke79 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I'm all for fans, for the sake of the fans, but damn they've been rolling along just fine in an empty stadium. I'm almost afraid to rock the boat. 1
TheFunPolice Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 It's symbolic, but symbols matter to the human psyche. No matter the number, "fans in attendance" is a boost for the team and region! 1

That's the kind of fan I am!!
DrDawkinstein Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Not opposed to this if the Gov and Health team decide it's ok. I'm also hearing this will be used as a trial run for the Rapid Testing required to get in, and if it goes well, will be used to re-open bars, restaurants, etc. So possibly some more good that can come of it. 1
Freddie's Dead Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I'm not holding my breath. History shows that an increase in the positivity rate will be enough to blow this off. I'll believe it when we see fans going through the turnstiles on game day.
