Nick the Greek Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 How about this. it doesn’t matter who we get in then playoffs, they will be a good team that earned it to be there. no opponent can be taken lightly. 2

If we rest our starters in Week 17 and the Titans win out, they would take the 2 seed from us as they beat us head to head and we have the same 12-4 record. Am I wrong? Yes because one of the Browns and Steelers would be 12-4 and it would go to the 3 way tie breaker. Titans and Browns lose out on Conference Record, Steelers lose on Strength of Schedule

Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Yes though it seems a bit like a fantasy with Edmunds making th probowl. So I'm worried the rest of it is all a dream like the final episode of St. Elsewhere.

Breaking the drought was a great day... but this has me on another level. This feels like the dawn after a long, long night. LETS GO!!! This weekend has been great but breaking the drought was special. I believe this year we’ll go a lot farther in the playoffs but it was awesome to break the drought. Also, I know this is a hindsight thought (I didn’t want him when we drafted him. That said, that quickly changed) but the best weekend in the last 25 years could very well be when we drafted Josh Allen to be our quarterback of the future. Go, go Buffalo!!!
ganesh Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Yes. Absolutely. I think people are fretting too much about who they want to play in the playoffs... All match ups are going to be tough and not a push over. I agree Miami is probably the weakest of all the likely playoff teams due to a rookie QB. However, you have to go with a 'confident' mindset into the playoffs to take care of business against anyone...that includes the Titans, Ravens, Colts, Browns, Dolphins. I want the Bills to dominate the playoffs. 1

They really do struggle playing from behind though and we're the type of team to put them in a hole. Honestly I think any of the AFC teams can beat any of the other AFC teams. Some results would surprise me but none would shock me. We play our game and we can beat any of them. That’s exactly what I was thinking Sage. The Ravens have shown they are not a team that plays well from behind. We’ve pulled out to a lead in most games this year, and also when others have somewhat caught up in a few games, we seem to put the game in another gear and pull it out. The Ravens are a running team, and we can score much faster. Personally, I hope the Steelers win the first round, amd that whining knucklehead dances again on our logo, so insert (Milano, Poyer, Hyde) metaphorically decapitate him. I don’t mean seriously injured as much as this guys makes me want to move away from my general principle about not wanting guys getting hurt, but ring his bell knocking him out if the game so he has an entire season thinking of how stupid he was when the team was in a free fall. 2

Correct but if Pittsburgh loses and Cleveland beats the Jets both teams go into the game at 11-4. That means the division winner will be 12-4 as well. So in a 3 way tiebreaker, the Bills would win.

Edit: I believe that's what you meant anyways haha. Too many drinks tonight! The planetary alignment of Jupiter and Saturn happens about every 20 years, but the it's been almost 400 years since the planets aligned on the Winter Solstice (1623) and it's been nearly 800 years since the alignment took place at night so that it could actually be seen by people.

Squealer fans can bemoan thier losses on the D but Old Fat Ben has looked horrible. I put almost all of the losses on him.....Bills did pretty much had their way against the weakened D but you play who is in front of you. I will say - pretty much any team in the AFC is a tough out. No matter where the seeding is all the teams coming into the platoffs are looking purdy dang good. I do like the Bills chances tho!! Go BILLS!!!! 1
SoCal Deek Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 It’s interesting that many Bills fans are just now figuring out that when you make the playoffs you’re pretty much guaranteeing that you’ll be playing against really good teams from here on out. I guess that’s what happens when you’re used to watching from home. The difference is that in 2020 the Bills aren’t backing in. WE ARE a really good team!

Whoever gets the WFT on WC weekend lucked out. Even though WFT has a good defense nobody from the NFC Least deserves a playoff spot.
