Mountain Man Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 It looks like the Jags will get Lawrence now in the draft, and have multiple QBs already. How would people offering a late day 3 pick to get Minshew as backup QB? He'd be cheap, shown some talent in a terrible offense and importantly is more mobile than Barkley so offers an easier fit if needed to play. 2 2
Rc2catch Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I would give nothing for him. I’m not even sure id call him and upgrade from Barkley. There will be plenty of low end backup guys around this offseason I wouldn’t waste a pick on him. 10
LeGOATski Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 He seems like he'll have a long career as a backup and could fit into any locker room. 4
Chicharito Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I wouldn’t be opposed to a 7th round pick but I would like to see what Jake has first! 3
clayboy54 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Why would you want to downgrade the position?

No idea what the price would be for Minshew 1

Rigotz Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 We drafted a rookie QB in the 5th round to be backup. He hasn't played a single snap and you're already done with him? I think maybe we shouldn't use another late round pick on a backup QB, but that's just me. 1

Straight Hucklebuck Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 This is the right idea. This team needs a better backup Quarterback. Barkley stinks and Fromm is a camp body. The days of keeping the backup as weak as possible so that the starter isn’t threatened should be over. 1 1

gjv001 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Mason Rudolph will be a Free agent this off-season. 1
Solomon Grundy Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 There's only room for one STACHE on the roster 1 1
Beast Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 (edited) Minshew is awful. Pass. Let's see what Fromm is all about. 26 minutes ago, Straight Hucklebuck said: The days of keeping the backup as weak as possible so that the starter isn’t threatened should be over. Name one backup that would threaten Josh Allen. This I want to hear. Edited December 21, 2020 by Beast 1

Pokebball Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Back up QB should bring wisdom and culture to Josh and the team; a guy that's been around for for a decade that fits well into the desired team culture. I think we've got that guy. 2
