Hampton Josh fan Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 John Brown needs to get out there and start contributing. This guy has been either hurt unavailable most of the year. Limit his snaps but get him in game shape for the 1st playoff game. I like Smoke, but if you can't stay on the field, Gabe Davis can be our 3rd receiver.

Hope he comes back 100% healthy and ready to go because with him healthy in the lineup that offense is unstoppable. What's up with Digg's foot?

Don Otreply Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Ya can’t sit him and then just throw him in cold into a playoff game, he needs to be at game speed previous to the playoffs. It is a silly azs debate, if he is off IR he is healthy enough to start having snaps, to not play him is to purposefully keep that talent on the side line, and that doesn’t show much brain power does it... That and we will be playing for playoff seeding for the rest of the regular season, so this resting the starters horse sh-t is just absurd. Jmo😁👍 Go Bills!!! 1
Malazan Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Is this even a question? Of course you play a guy that's been out for weeks who fill a starting position. Why would you wait for a playoff game for him to see snaps?
gordong Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Has he even been officially taken off IR? because as of yesterday he was still on it... we had 21 day from last week.

I believe they said Diggs foot was stepped on and wasn't serious (might have been McD post game presser). I'm sure there will be more coming out later. 1

Similar with the easing in that they did with Milano.
eee1776 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Diggs might need some rest (Foot), Play Brown instead if he is ready. Gilmore might be out next week and possibly change of quarterback for next weeks game.
Freddie's Dead Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Sit SmokeY until the playoffs. Let him get fully healed, then UNLEASH THE SMOKEY MONSTER!!

LABILLBACKER Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I personally think you rest him Monday and give him 50% of his normal reps against Miami. You want him to knock a little rust off going into the playoffs. Having him 80-90% going into playoff game 1 would be huge.
Mango Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Probably kicks some of the rust off this week with Josh and get into rhythm. Still feels like how we play week 17 is 50/50 on starters and what could be at stake. Do it now with the first time and put him on a pitch count, that way we have some freedom on what to do with him against the fins.
ndirish1978 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Pitch count monday, pitch count vs Dolphins
SoCal Deek Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Play him. These guys are all young, and in shape professional athletes with exceptional medial and training care. This is not some Senior recreation league. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Play to win with the guys that are healthy Makes no sense to play Brown before the playoffs unless truly 100%
Hebert19 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Yup. As said above. He needs some plays this week and next so he gets timing back with Josh. Even if he's just a decoy and runs straight line a few plays.
dma0034 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Lets say he's 80% right now then I'd say exclusive used on 3rd downs until the playoffs. I'd really like him to get some action in before the postseason.
BuffBills51 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 If he is 100% healthy you play him. I personally think he will be on a snap count when he comes back for the next two weeks.

Let him get a couple series against the Dolphins and wait on the playoffs.
