Fix the title and eliminate the politics please. Thanks. Not sure how I can make a thread that includes Como, COVID and Bills fans being allowed in stadium NOT political. I will remove the sarcastic King, but people need to wake up.

Brennan Huff Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 So you’re saying there’s a chance...... 1

I was really hopeful folks would take it seriously and do what needed to be done to drive numbers down so we could go to games. Jokes on me? 2 1
The Firebaugh Kid Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 I do not see a way to keep fans completely away. Its been 25 years.

As such, we avoid divisive phrasing that leads to arguments best discussed elsewhere. Thanks. 2 1
DrDawkinstein Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Dont get your hopes up, folks. We saw the bump in numbers that hit after Thanksgiving. Christmas is just going to make things worse thru January. There's no way they can responsibly let people in. 1

wjag Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 My paraphrase: If this, and if that, and finally if Niagara Falls freezes, sure why not. But hey, the decision which is mine to make is punted to a non-football fan health commissioner.
Returntoglory Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 I mean SERIOUSLY, with all of the suites and the size of the stadium, there is absolutely no reason that we cannot have fans in the stands! NYS clearly states that any gatherings inside must be 10 people or less. So why cannot the suites have fans in them? With over 100 field seating sections, social distancing would be easy to enforce. People can exit the stadium by section, etc. Hold a lottery for the limited number of seats. DO SOMETHING! 1

But hey, the decision which is mine to make is punted to a non-football fan health commissioner. unfortunately it will always be “not advisable” (to the medical experts) to have large gatherings if there’s even a slight chance that a few of the attendees can be infected (zomg). Which is why I’m pessimistic there will be fans in 2021 either. Too much skepticism around the vaccine, not to mention the logistical challenges.

Doc Brown Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Just stay safe as some things are bigger than football. Look at the bright side. It will just make next year home postseason games all the more memorable. 4
ndirish1978 Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 I will drive to the stadium and stand outside while socially distanced from everyone else on the street and cheer the team from outside if they don't let fans in and I live in another country.

buffaloboyinATL Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Maybe the Pegulas can pay to vaccinate 72,000 volunteers and pack the stadium for home playoff games. I volunteer.
Greg S Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 NJ usually follows NY on such matters. If the Giants can somehow win the NFC Least and Murphy allows fans to go to the Giants playoff game(they will be one and done) I would definitely get tickets. I live 20 minutes from MetLife and I do miss going to the games.
