Have you ever walked up to a car that looks like yours and tried to get in?

Last week I watched my wife try to get into a car a few down from where I was parked.  Same color, different model.  It was hilarious.  I probably should have stopped her but wanted to see when see recognized her error.

Yes, but my key fob wouldn't unlock the door.  To make it worse, it was at a BILLS bar, after a game.  It was a white Nissan Rogue.

I have never tried to get in, but I have definitely approached a car thinking it was "mine" and then realized at the last second "This isn't my car."

 

This mostly happens with rentals and cars I am unfamiliar with but am driving for whatever reason.
