Allen and Madden

Me and a guy from work are talking and wondering has Josh Allens play made him a good candidate for the cover of Madden 22 or is he not at that level yet? Im curious as to what some of you guys that play the game think.

from what I’ve gathered, he’s the best QBs in madden.  Maybe not rating wise, but he basically unstoppable

It might depend on the MVP vote or playoffs but I can easily see Rodgers, Wilson and even to some extent Kyler Murray and possibly long shot Aaron Donald snagging the cover before Allen. It’s all about the popularity and I don’t think Allen has the national popularity YET. Let him have some more of these MVP games we’ve seen this season in the next few weeks and his odds would increase

I would pass on it, I think Russell Wilson or Rodgers is a better candidate for the Madden Curse I mean Cover...

Only way I see it happening is if the Bills win the Superbowl.  Otherwise my money would be on Rodgers, Derek Henry, DK Metcalf, Tyreek Hill or TJ Watt.

Mahomes needs to be on the cover every year. He's probably curse-proof, but that doesn't mean the cover should stop trying!

Now this makes me wonder if they just take a photo of a player from AP or if they do a special photo shoot for the cover.  I can only imagine how many times the kicker would have to pretend to kick a ball (or really kick a ball) to get through the shoot.

Pass.  I don't believe in curses as a rule, but this one sure seems to have something to it.  Maybe players begin to believe the hype.  Do us a solid and put Patrick Mahomes on there.
