4merper4mer Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 If you could live the life of any person in the course of human history, who's would you choose? You have to take it all. The good, bad, boring, everything. You can choose someone who had a glorious moment, a life of wealth, a series of accomplishments, a single discovery.....whatever you like. The only rule is you get all of one person's life but only one person's. And before anyone whines you actually get two lives....you don't have to give up your own. My choice is a person who I'm sure had a lot of unknown accomplishments but my choice is based on one moment, or a least one event. I consider it to be the greatest accomplishment in human history. I'd be Neil Armstrong. I simply can't imagine the feeling he must have had stepping onto the moon and looking at the Earth from afar. I'd worry that everything would seem mundane upon my return home but I'd make the trade. 1 Quote
Irv Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I would pick an Astronaut but not Neil. His wife had a lot of problems and I think that might have been a very stressful (or maybe rewarding life). I'd go with Buzz Aldrin with General Chuck Yeager as my choice 2. 1 1 Quote

It would have to be somebody who lived with indoor plumbing. I would want to be the younger, but wiser, me. If I had known then half of what I know now........just WOW! Having said that, I think I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, for whatever reason. I have no regrets, other than where I might have hurt other people, knowingly or otherwise. I learned my lessons from my mistakes, but I never wanted to hurt anyone else. There are some cool options to consider, I will admit. . Edited December 10, 2020 by Augie 1 Quote

Seasons1992 Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 As a journalism major and former broadcaster, I will take Al Michaels. Miracle on Ice, SF earthquake, amazing games and events throughout the career, and still working now. Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Maybe Dan Bilzerian? Looks like he’s always having fun. Playing poker, screwing lots of hot broads, shooting big guns? I know he’s been in legal trouble, but his life seems exciting. 1 Quote
