True.  But it's his 5th year since making the switch to TE in the NFL (and 7th since he entered the league) and he's only starting to look like an NFL TE.  How long do you wait?

Then you get a guy like Antonio Gates, so it’s really just a matter of how quick he “gets it”, if he ever does.

Or Waller.  It happens, but rarely.

The belief with writers in Philly is Tyree Jackson is one of the stars of Eagles camp as he has taken to being a TE incredibly well. There is a good chance he makes the team .. which may cause the Eagles to move on from Ertz. Glad to see he is doing well.

What does this mean for Zach Ertz? Third string?

Three pages to get this to an Ertz trade.  Wow!

Ertz should be a Bill.

Beane should make this happen now.

I will wait and see.

At least he'll stick.

I just saw Anthony Johnson is behind Ray Ray McCloud on the Steelers' depth chart.  At one point I thought he'd be a first round draft pick.

Being red-shirted in a new position isn't the worst fate for him. Come in learn the system and the playbook while also getting to know the coaches and the organization. Hoping for the best for him.

Happy for him. Sorry to hear about the injury, but good for him he was good enough to play another position like that. He is like 6ft7 or 6ft8 which is good for TE. Could do a trick play or 2 where he throws too.
