The lost revenue set back the whole process. Expect the Bills to stay put in OP another 5-10 years. He may have willed them to win, but as I read the description, it looks like he completed one pass and did the rest on the ground with the help of his RB. Then again, Nathan Peterman was pretty good in that one snow game too. General point remains, however: Allen has looked great in dome/perfect weather games, and I'm sure he loves the idea of playing every game in that environment. However, WNY doesn't have the financial strength of a Minneapolis. Modifying the current stadium and installing a fabric dome is a more feasible solution for a dome stadium in WNY.

Expand While there is no way a stadium will be decided on, built, and ready to go in the next 3-4 years, I could definitely see it happening in the 5-7 year range....and IMO it will be a fixed roof dome downtown. For that reason alone the budget for a bills stadium has to be drastically lower than minnesota/atlanta/LA/LV. I'd probably cap it at around 1 billion with cost overruns expected. Something nice and boring like lucas oil stadium would be my guess. 1

To put a roof on the current stadium would cost as much if not more, and all you end up with is an old stadium with a tent over it. Either stick with what you have or build new. There's no shortcut. 1
