Expand The encouraging thing about last week was we saw a number of plays like that from Josh against the 49ers This is cut out of Chris Simms unbuttoned so the quality is poor, but just look at the number of completed passes behind or at the LOS - I count 8 - or within ~5 yds - 12 of 15 or something like that. I'm the one who's been so frustrated with Allen's unwillingness to do that over the past years that I've factitiously suggested equipping them with 10 ft blaze orange fiberglass snowpoles to help Josh spot them. 1

Expand Yep....obviously 2nd and 4 or 5 is always better for the offense than 2nd and 10. The time to take chances is actually in those 2nd and 3 or 4 situations! 1
