dollars 2 donuts Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 (edited) Washington created the opening and the Bills just have to keep it up and walk on through. Get to midnight next Sunday at 10-3, drop the Steelers to 11-2, and get help from somebody. Steelers have games remaining after that of Bengals, Indie and Browns. I would love it to be Indie, but if the division is still in play then, Browns, go right ahead. If Buffalo and Cleveland finish tied at 13-3 the Bills win on conference record (10-2 to 9-3). That Hail Mary...no, let’s more so say that bad third quarter play is maddening enough, especially with that being the Cardinals only win in five weeks. It would be fabulous to make up for it with the #2 spot in the AFC and two guaranteed home playoff games. Go Bills! Edited December 8, 2020 by dollars 2 donuts 7
MJS Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Just have to take things one week at a time. Never know how these games will look or how things will turn out. Most didn't think Washington could beat them, but they did. 2
The Gravytrain Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Hear. Hear. I will just add that that anything is possible after tonight. These guys are playing with confidence after that win. That was a solid D. And the Steelers are showing that they are beatable. 1
Warcodered Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 This is the kinda ***** I like to see, I'm sick of the but we might lose the AFC East to the Dolphins crap. We're in the lead at 9-3 with 4 games to go lets aim higher. 10
Jim Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 I think I might be being a bit ridiculous but... If us, the Chiefs and the Steelers all end up knotted at 13 and 3 at the end of the season guess who gets the number 1 spot? Yeah, you guessed it. The Buffalo Bills. 2

Do the Chiefs not have the tie breaker against us?

But if all three of us end up with the same record, for whatever the reason is we come out on top. I assume it would probably be their record against the AFC? 1

Andy1 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 The confidence on the team has to be sky high now, esp with the way Josh is playing. They are hungry and finally mostly healthy. They Believe! Hopefully they can finish strong. 1

Jim Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 The thing I keep in mind is that I just don't think home field means what it woulda meant in a non-Covid season. Of course, a bye definitely wouldn't hurt though. 1

We win one more and they're also out of it. Edited December 8, 2020 by Warcodered 2 1

If we win out and the Steelers lose one more besides us, we'll have the number two seed. Woohoo!!! Edited December 9, 2020 by BillsFan619 2

Buffalo03 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 The 2 seed doesn't really mean anything amymore since there is no first round bye 1

Also, we play against a lower seed. btw, side note, I am a big proponent of nobody getting a bye and have 8 teams in. #1, your prized is home field advantage.
