I thought at time like his partner on show he was a good actor who should get more roles.

My uncle who served in Japan post WWII died from it;  in his later years he barely could talk but I could understand him unlike others.

I had just caught them a few nights ago on pluto tv then read yesterday he had passed. a real drag. I remember them (L&S) following happy days back in the day. they even made a cameo on happy days I believe?

I used to spot David Lander  a lot in animation

His most memorial role in animation was in "Who framed Roger Rabbit?"  There were a lot of good actors in that film and many actors were happy to get bit parts just to be in the film.
