I thought at time like his partner on show he was a good actor who should get more roles.


My uncle who served in Japan post WWII died from it;  in his later years he barely could talk but I could understand him unlike others.

Michael  McKean and he developed the  Lenny and Squiggy bits at Carnegie Mellon U acting classes where they met in 1965.

I think those bits got them noticed by Gary Marshall  and cast in L&S.

I used to spot David Lander  a lot in animation

His most memorial role in animation was in "Who framed Roger Rabbit?"  There were a lot of good actors in that film and many actors were happy to get bit parts just to be in the film.
