Jauronimo Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Pittsburgh needed a defensive score to beat a team whose starting QB went for 33 yards. 1
Jerome007 Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 In other games, I see much more miscommunication between blockers than we see with the Bills. And THIS game by the Steelers how many dropped passes? Huh

wjag Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Pittsburgh didn't even try to run against a depleted DLine. Instead they humiliated the only unit intact, the secondary. Brutal game for Baltimore.

I hate using the easy schedule argument, but it almost certainly applies here. Pittsburgh isn’t overly impressive anywhere on the ball. 2
FLFan Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 The Steelers were very unimpressive today. They are no doubt a good team, but they don’t strike me as great and are certainly beatable. 3

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Just reading some steeler fan comments in the Pittsburgh papers, it’s awfully similar to the comments here after that chargers win. From Tomlin down, they felt like they played like trash. from watching them play a decent amount this year, they are a lot better than today. I would expect we get their best game.

Doc Brown Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 You saw it with us and the Titans. You screw up a normal routine and the league keeps jerking you around you're going to come out flat. 4

Yes, and not many teams have the secondary that Baltimore has. Bmore did a good job taking away what Pitt likes to do this yr, quick short to intermediate passing game, with occasional (and often well-timed) deep route. Josh needs to play similar to last yr, aggressive yet not careless. They tend to get overaggressive on defense, just hope to take advantage of that with 1-2 well timed deep balls. And with Dupree out, thats a huge loss. He might have the best burst off the edge in the NFL. And with Bush already out, that defense is still real solid but that trickle down effect on the depth chart will soon be noticable...they aren't a deep team at LB or pass rush, but have premier guys
Houston's #1 Bills Fan Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Would have been nice to have seen a loss by the Steelers today. Sets up an intriguing game with us. If we continue to win out and they had one more loss, we'd own the tie-breaker! Home playoffs games in Buffalo? No way!!!

Washington will not see the Steelers "A" game. Their stud LB is now out and basically 4 days rest. This is an opening for Washington to upset them. On the flip side I'd prefer the Steelers coming to Buffalo off a win, not a loss. Good teams (and good coaches) always seem to pull themselves together after a loss. 1

Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Pittsburgh did not look like a 11-0 team. Still they would be favored over Buffalo. It would be so nice to just blitzkreig San Fran and rest the starters in the fourth quarter.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 That no call delay of game at the half ended up looming rather large. Reminded me a bit of the Richard Sherman dan carpenter thing a few years back. They got Offside, but there was no deadball foul for the hit. Had to snap and spike. Then missed the kick, even though he hit our guy after the whistle. Refs suck sometimes.
