Campy
...that so many people posting here know *SO* much more than TD does. Until you see this kid on the field, STFU. 314843 I'd love to see how many WM fans were pissing and moaning about that pick! TD and TM (Modrak) have proven their ability to evaluate talent and pick up pretty decent players (see TD's Pitt picks and TM's Philly picks). EndZoneCrew
Please. Dissent is OK. Nobody here REALLY knows enough to scout players, but choosing a small WR with the second pick is certainly controversial. 315055 Absolutely it is.....I just wish all of the negative posts could be in one thread so we don't have to read them in every single one....it gets kind of monotonous don't you think???? Mile High
I rarely criticize any move until I see the full plan and the players play. With that said, how many *small* players ever make it in the NFL? They are a dime a dozen in college, yet the ones that make it are the exceptions that prove the rule. Corey Moore was an OUTSTANDING college football player, but was an NFL bust. The landscape is littered with them. There is ample reason to be pessimistic about this guy's prospective career. 315060 Too true. I will wait and see what their plan is for the guy. But, I just feel that this pick could've been used on an OT to fill the void. I don't like the pick myself but oh well Td and TM are the experts. Until you see this kid on the field, STFU. 314843 It amazes me when people post threads here calling out fans. Jesus H. Christ, how many times do we end up seeing that??????? Imagine, people have different opinions on a draft pick????? I don't know much about this pick of Roscoe P. Parrish Coltraine, but he looks like he has a set of wheels. ndirish1978
here is my frustration. Barnes was there, I dunno if we tried to trade up for him or not, so thats moot. But, Miller, Terry and Hawthorne were all around, why not take a player we NEED because I havent seen anyone who rates Parrish as a better value PLUS, we NEED DL and OL. Dont get me wrong, I will be a big Parrish fan especially when we start playing more open sets and I know mularkey used 3 wrs well cause look at ward, randle el and burress, but it just feels like we had greater needs elsewhere. Hope Im proven wrong.

djfarr00
Well said...I especially like the "fans" here who are now saying "I waited 8 hours for that!". As if the Bills owe them, or anyone an exciting draft. Geez get a life and move on until you see the guy play. That said, why does "Avion Black" and "Rodney Bellinger" sound familiar??? 314884 hey john kerry, which side are you supporting? Campy
why not take a player we NEED because I havent seen anyone who rates Parrish as a better value PLUS, we NEED DL and OL. 315105 Perhaps the brass felt that a player who could help would be available with their next pick and/or they disagree with your opinion of what the "need" areas are. I'd tend to agree with what your perceptions of their need areas are, but I feel pretty comfortable in believing that they know more about draft prospects and current players than you and I put together. Let's face it, none of the OL are gauranteed to be the next Munoz. But they do know that a guy who can run a 4.36 forty is pretty damn fast. DeeRay
.that so many people posting here know *SO* much more than TD does. Until you see this kid on the field, STFU. Are you fugginn Blind? WTF? Donahoe's 5th year of rebuilding and this team just fell to 4th place in the division.... Ole Whitey is getting as senile as Ralph. Seriously... Do you think NE is going to slip more than a notch to 2nd? Do you think the Jets didn't improve more than the Bills? And Miami will win 7-8 games. Bills will be lucky to win 7 or 8.... This is 2001 all over again.
CarolinaBill99
I am glad that TD did not draft out of need. I am not defending Parrish but it is stupid to draft a position out of need. I keep hearing Erik Flowers name in my head when we did that.

jarthur31
I'm just a bit surprised at our 1st pick.....and it took a long time getting to #55. It's been a long day. I'm just used to a little more excitment like the McGahee, Losman and Evans picks....(and I'm a little bummed about losing Nugent to the Jets and the fact that we're not going to get the Arizona trade for Travis). Maybe I just need a group hug. 314946 How bout a kiss? Are you French?
