ChicagoRic Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Gabriel Davis and AJ Klein had good games. Hats off. Everyone else? Meh. In years past, with the silly penalties and bad fumbles and Bosa running wild, this would have been a loss because the Bills lacked the talent just grind it out. This year they have enough talent and consistency to grind it out. I'll take it. 15
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Flat is exactly it, especially on O. No energy. JA looked like he was sleepwalking, Diggs was running backwards all game, and the laziness on the two fumbles was really weak. 1
Royale with Cheese Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 We had 3 consecutive turnovers and still put up 27. 4
YoloinOhio Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I didn’t notice that they played flat. Maybe my flatness detector is on the fritz. 2
BuffaloBillies Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I thought defense played incrementally better. I even felt like I trusted them down the stretch more. Go Bills 1
buffalobillswin Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Win is a win. And it felt good seeing the defense winning the game which hasn't happened nearly enough this year. 2
pepsicat17 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 We did what we had to do and won against a team we should beat by multiple scores. This is when you can see the baseline of the team as a whole has been raised - we lose this game easily in the past. Good sign and a good win but hope we tighten it up in the future. Consistency is the next step for the team as a whole to take.

Go Bills This is the biggest takeaway for me. I just pray it carries over and they can get back to that 16-17 pts a game average again like last year headed into the playoffs.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Not sure I'd call it flat. More like playing a good defensive team, overall we played very good 95% of the plays, but the 5% where they screw up, they do it big time at the worst times to give the other team another shot.
Success Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 If we're 7-8 years into dominating the division, we can complain about lackluster wins to get to 8-3. Right now? I'm a permanent resident of Cloud 9. 1 2 1

D has really picked it up since the Chiefs game when they decided to become more aggressive. 2 1

I didn't see it as "flat" but there was a bunch of timers throughout the game where I thought it was nice to see them leading by two scores most of the day when they were not playing their best football. Good to see you back around, you old fart.
MJS Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I didn't notice a lack of energy. The turnovers were bad, yeah, but why does that mean the guys weren't playing with energy?
LABILLBACKER Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Sorry but flat is way too mild a word. By the Grace of God we scored 27 points. We played terrible. More turnovers. More stupid decisions by players and coaches. More penalties which we've come to expect every week. Another Hail Mary that was 1 yard from being a TD. No matter how many mistakes this team makes they will promise you they won't learn from them and make them again. It's the Clappy McBillsy way. Worst 2nd half team in the NFL. You know you're bad when both announcers mock your halftime instabilities. Orange slices....... 1

Process Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 A win is a win but we've gotten to a point where we are beyond that. This teams consistent inability to put together a complete game and put a team away is a major concern. It's Every. Single. Week.

Haslett_Stomp Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Hail Mary defense aside, the defense is rounding into form. Despite the offense doing their best to keep it close, the defense did not let the Chargers take advantage of the turnovers in the 2nd half. Edited November 29, 2020 by Haslett_Stomp
