Its truly absurd. If you can’t find enjoyment in it and just want to complain, why watch? More importantly, why participate here?????

We could be 11-0 right now but the games were close and many here would still be calling for McD’s head. So silly.

They played the team they played. This is who the chargers are.  The chargers are 3-8 for a reason. They’ve lost all their games by one score except one... the Bills. They went to OT vs the saints. They would have beaten the chiefs if not not for a 58 yard FG. Bills beat them by 2 scores. What is the issue.

People struggle to understand how good of a team the Chargers are when they look only at the record. We shot ourselves in the foot, and that happens sometimes. We still outplayed a good team and walked away with a win. Will we get by making mistakes like that in December, January, and February? No. But there's no reason to assume the mistakes will keep happening without any variance. The fact that the defense is playing significantly better is the big takeaway here.

The offense was a complete disaster in the 4th quarter.... the game was no different from what we are used to. Get out to a big lead and let the team hang around with sloppy play. Has to be some sort of mentality from the top that carries down to the players on the field. Similar to the Dan Quinn Falcons.

Three bad plays does not make an offense a disaster. They moved the ball fine most of the game.

they looked like dog poop agaisnt TEN and KC this year. they wont get past either team this year

Hard to see the Bills making it passed the 2nd round- if they even make it that far...just too inconsistent, and too undisciplined imo...

8-3.  First place in the division.  Coming off a 10 point win.  Very bright future long-term.

You'd think we were 2-9 with a journeyman QB just hoping the draft would get here already.  It's mind boggling.

They have beaten lots of good opponents THIS YEAR. They have beaten the most winning teams in the league (as of last week).

So are you saying the Bills aren't a good team?

Dude, you know what I'm saying. They won this week great it was perfect. Let's keep following the fourth quarter formula from today. We can't lose. Jeez

What was the messaging? They did put them away. They never trailed in the game and won by 2 scores. This isn’t college.

I’m not sure what to tell you here. They never trailed because the defense bailed them out which is good to see. My perception is the coaching staff is happy with the win as they always are. But they seemingly aren’t doing anything to fix the lack of focus after halftime. I feel comfortable saying this because we watch week after week our team come out and play terrible football in which they simply don’t execute.
I could point to countless examples in the season the Arizona game, we let a Hail Mary beat us because we couldn’t put the cardinals away. We had about 7 straight penalties and looked terrible offensively.
The rams game the defense didn’t show up after halftime time.

We should’ve won both of those games and only won one because we didn’t execute or “find a way”. It’s not finding a way if it’s self inflicted. We beat a 3-7 chargers team by two scores. But we played a crap game in the second half offensively and that will beat you against better competition.
We don’t have to agree but I can’t articulate my point any better than that.

If you can't understand that the way we played in fourth quarter especially is not good enough I can't help. They did some things some of which have been repeated over and over that will not play against good opponents.

The Bills have beaten more teams with winning records than any team in the league.

As far as I can tell he's never been used as a blitz specialist, more as a run thumper.  Maximum credit to Leslie Frazier for understanding Klein's potential in getting after the QB.

I was with someone who first game he watched game with me he constantly complained about Klein saying he should be cut even though it saved Bills money.

After 2 days where Klein was all over field any time a good play is made and he did not see because he was paying attention to another game at bar he asked "Klein?"

I'd say yes.  Several times he attributed plays to other players and on replay he'd see it was Klein.

On the sack he asked "Who?" and I said "Klein". He asked "Cleanup sack?" and I said no - they dedicated player to block him and he just threw him off and made a solo sack anyways."

Then he said "Klein" with a voice like Lurch said in Adams Family.

This is very true, but I do get it though, as a fan watching I'm trying to see the Bills put the game out of reach and for some reason they have to keep it within horrifying upset range. This makes it feel like they did worse than they did. No one on the outside looking in is going to think the Bills played bad today.

Is the Chargers secondary really good? I know we're down brown, but it seems the bills play their best when they sling it

I watch the Chargers pretty much weekly because of the TV market I'm in. They're waaaayyy better than their record would indicate.

The Charger D is tremendous and kills everyone, especially early in games like today. Their line is so good that they can rush 4 and long developing plays don't work against them, which is why the Bills offensive line was overmatched in pass pro today. Buffalo's biggest strength tends to be those intermediate crossers against man, which don't work well against the teams with great d lines.

I think there's a lot to like about the gameplan today, even though people are gonna B word about the turnovers. The one where Allen didn't fall on the snap was the one that bothered me because it's a miss on the fundamentals and he's again trying to do too much.

We saw Buffalo become the first team to beat the Chargers by more than a score, and we definitely saw the coaching put together a defensive plan for Herbert that worked better than what anyone else has done so far. This was the best defensive performance for the team this year, the 2nd time the entire secondary was healthy, and it makes a difference. LA only got 3 points off their 3 turnovers today and scored 17.

The gameplan on offense was a lot of misdirection in the first half to set up a more traditional run game in the second half and it works a lot better if certain guys don't fumble. It doesn't look as pretty, bit Buffalo broke the franchise record for consecutive games with 20 first downs and changes the offensive gameplan for each opponent.

If you don’t understand what the offense was trying to do in the 4th quarter that’s on you

I literally don't know what you are saying. It seems to be that you think we can't beat good teams, but we have shown that we can multiple times this year. So I have to conclude that you are just mistaken.

Never indicated happiness...but questioned the original commenter about what "finishing" means to them.  We turned it over 4 times in the 4th quarter, had multiple stops at key times, got a key FG at the end, and FINISHED THE GAME WITH A WIN.  That was my only point.  Not sure what "finish" means when you WIN.  The Cards game....sure, talk all you want about "FINISHING" but this game...was "FINISHED" with a WIN.  8-3.  You'd think we were were 3-8 based on a lot of posts on here.  We won!  We did it!  Enjoy it!

Better to win and have things to work on, than to lose and have things to work on!

We FINISHED WITH A WIN!

I think he/she was originally saying it’d be nice to close a game out without it being a nail biter. You can’t deny we should’ve won by 3 TD’s today.  So yes, obviously the game finished, and obviously we finished with a win, but it was an ugly finish.  If we’re going to go anywhere in the playoffs, we need to be more dominant, and not allow teams back into the game.  Happy they won.. but need to learn how to close teams out vs getting soft and making mistakes in the second half. It has happened way too many times this year.  Do you disagree?

Are you seriously saying the 8-3 Bills are similar to the 4-7 Falcons?!  The Bills beat the Chargers by more points than the Chiefs and Saints did.  It wasn’t perfect, but they controlled the game from start to finish, unlike most teams that have played the Chargers this season.

It was a double digit win against the team that shows they can out up points and play teams tough.

I shudder to think what Chiefs fans think knowing the Chargers took them to overtime...

By modern NFL standards, this game was never in any serious doubt.  The Bills made it interesting because of the turnovers, but at no point did it look like LAC would actually take a lead.
